Aquarel is watercolour and there are colouring pencils that when you go over the colouring with a wet brush it looks a bit like aquarel. Like the mouse cards iin my gallery

Jo.on.the.go gave us a wonderful technique with those aquarel pencils: wet a brush slightly and go over the top of the pencil and "paint". You need a good brand of pencils to have bright colours, I like Derwent intense and from Faber Castell, Albrecht Durer.
I got the Derwent pencils very cheap from Amazon

Lilbad and Marilou, I am not in this group but I'm going to speak up. Yes Muddy's gorgeous pages are going to be intimidating. There will be several totally awesome pages in this group. And weather or not you count yours among them I know the other artist will enjoy adding your pages to their books. It is a lot more interesting when our albums have a variety of artists in them. So take your time and do your best and enjoy both giving and getting...

One of the things I love about this site is the wide variety of artists - all different personalities, mediums ,styles, and skill levels.
