Cool ANIMALS OF THE ALPHABET--G; ATCs; due date August 8

    Due date: August 8, 2014
Number of ATCs: 3 for 3
    Number of Participants: Unlimited
    Medium: Any/All

Animals of the Alphabet--G; Open Media; DUE: 8/8

I have been wanting to do another animal swap for a while & decided any time (now) is a good time to do that. Over time we will go through the entire alphabet. You will pick three animals that start with the Letter G & will get three animals begining with the Letter G back. I know it is easier to do a simpler animal like an a goat, gerbil, gibbon or etc, but try to pick at least one animal that is not "commonly" referred to, if you can. The bonus critter for this swap is: Gharial. No special prizes for making one; just something to challenge you! I will be swapping effort for effort. This means that if you hand draw/hand paint, you will get the same in return. If you collage/mixed media, you will get the same in return, etc.

ATCs need to be in my hands either before or on August 8th. Late cards will be returned to the artist unswapped & risk getting a Neutral iTrader. Lack of communication and lack of ATCs will result in Neutral iTrader given. Please, please communicate. US SWAPPERS, please send a SASE. Postage will be whatever it cost you to send it to me. INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS, I WILL COVER POSTAGE FOR THE FIRST THREE INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS. All other international participants will need to send either US $$ or US stamps for return postage. I have set up a Pay Pal account also. ALL INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS NEED TO SEND A SELF ADDRESSED ENVELOPE OR LABEL TO GET THEIR RETURNS IN. Please label all your envelopes with your user name & swap name. Place each ATC in a plastic sleeve. An extra ATC on the subject would be greatly appreciated but is not mandatory. Please feel free to post your ATCs to the thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to shoot me a Private Message or ask in the thread. Please Private Message when you are ready for my address. Most international mail will take anywhere from one to two weeks to arrive in WA. Please plan accordingly. On that same note; most mail here in the US can take anywhere from two days up to 10 days so please don't wait until the last minute to send your ATCS.

Players, when you have received your return ATCs for the swap; please remember to leave I-Trader for the host (me, Ferretgirl) & You Rock points for your fellow artists that you received cards from. I will have all players linked to their first post so that leaving You Rock points will be a breeze. I will leave I-Trader points for you as soon as I receive (on time) your swaps. Once again, please Private Message me with any questions you may have.

You can put me down for this one too please!

However... Sorry to say it, but as you have overtaken my current position with my AAD project, I may not be able to create enough cards in advance whilst also keeping up with my project. We'll see, but I reckon by about I or J I may have to step out for a while. If my vague guestimations prove correct, I'll be finished L by the end of the year.

Thanks for carrying on, smallgirl, Glitter & lemurkat! So, I have smallgirl down for free return postage, Glitter down for free return postage & what about you, lemurkat? You want free return postage on this one?

I am so sorry to hear that you may be stepping out, lemurkat. That will be a bummer but we never know what can happen; who is to say you don't finish out with us. We'll just wait and see. Thanks for the head's up, though.

Great! We are adding on: spiderjessi, goatgirl (will be on the look-out) & CherylS. I am glad that you'll be posting a pic of the Galah, as I don't have a clue what that one is, either.

The galah is Australian. My friend and I took a hot air balloon over the outback. Afterward while we were on a minibus going to breakfast( breakkie down there) a big flock of galahs flew alongside the bus for quite a while. What a day!

Major Mitchell (Leadbetter) cockatoos are prettier. They are a more delicate shade of pink.

I also love the Major Mitchell's cockatoos, although all cockatoos are amazing! As planning on drawing one for the M animals. I didn't even know this bird existed until I got a calendar with them on it this year.
