Some of my cards look like a combination of printed and hand-typed. And a couple may have been 100% typed on a typewriter. That was probably someone's full-time job back in the day.

Sad I missed getting in on this one :(

Ohh...I am sorry I missed this swap. I would have loved to do it. Let me know if you do another one on this theme.

SouthernBellPepper, If you'd like I could start a wait list if someone drops.

I also might run this swap again in the future. This is proving to be quite fun.

Thank you my cards arrived - 'Greensleeves' and 'The Three Faces of Revolution' - loving them - I am feeling HenryVIII and Che Guevara (although the three faces of revolution are Communism, Radicalism and Anarchism !)
You did look at my profile - fantastic x

http://liswiki.org/wiki/History_of_the_card_catalog - a quick little read on the history of the card catalog. The first cards were written by hand.

I got my cards, and thank you. One was about cats so that is a no brainer, I am using that one. The rest more vague: Atlantis and other poems, meadow and pasture insects, hmmmm?, one about geography called the look of land,

Oh I forgot about this one This is easy THE NOBLE DOLL, so card #2 decided

and last but not least Mining frontiers of the far west.

Thanks CastleQueen - Well, I had seen in your profile that you like Butterflies and Dragonflies, which do show up in meadows. (that was my thinking at least!) But - that is all for you to decide. Enjoy!

Excellent that most of the cards have arrived.

Indeed Elena, I did pick and choose from what I had to swap out. I probably have/had a stack of 200-250 cards, but not everything was in there. Still, everyone got at least a couple of cards that matched their profiles.
