Glad to hear that Natasha has received the package! One thing about the rules, though: I'm fairly certain (having hosted the previous one) that you do give an iTrader in this kind of swap, too. Just to one person: the one before you. Like in any PIF or MMH thread. I think I asked Carole Cadek about this at the time.
Welcome to take a look at my blog, Instagram account and APC wishlist!

The huge package from NatashaMay arrived today. Will send it on to Sandy today ... took some (5 or so) cards out and added some too.

Hi Nicky, thanks for the update.
Too bad you could only trade 5 or so cards from those huge amount of cards.
Makes me wonder and very curious to the package...

Haha - don't wonder about the content... it's me - I have a very specific taste and cards need to fit in my various collections.

Lol, at least you can laugh about it, so I won't have to feel bad.
Glad you passed it on so quickly.
    Thanks for playing

I'm glad the package arrived safely, Nicky.

Hinkeltje, I suspect 5-10 cards is what usually gets traded by each player. Especially if you only collect certain type of cards. These 2nd generation type of swaps have a lot of collaged cards in there and if you collect mostly hd/hp, there's not much to trade. I remember one of the previous swaps that I was in, I exchanged even less than 5 cards but that's the way it goes. And it goes by preference as well. Some find something beautiful and others don't. I skipped quite a few cards in there that were well made (hd/hp included) but weren't to my taste but someone else might find them awesome.

The package arrived this morning - very exciting !
I have given Nicky an iTrader.
I think I will be exchanging around 10 cards - I will probably be adding more HD/HP and taking collage which on the whole I prefer.

I have Nooodlerabbit's address unless she has moved recently.

Sounds good, I haven't moved, I can't guarantee I'll be able to give much - I've had a zillion and one trades and swaps lol, but I might feel inspired to go ahead with some art!!!
New swap - Rainbows - due 10th Aug

Well this is interesting to me - but not really surprising - I picked out several cards I really liked and wanted to swap without looking at the backs.
They turned out to be all by one Dutch artist and one American artist - obviously kindred spirits !

I found it difficult to give away ATCs made by other people - but a few found their way out of my folders.
I did however find it really easy to look back at my own work and 'share' those (... and I have been making ATCs for a very long time, with breaks for real life) - looking at them I realise that I have added an element of 'crafting' to the art work !

Great job you could exchange so much cards Sarnie.
You made me very curious about that Dutch artist that you took a bunch of cards from. Lol.
And if anyone is having troubles to give 2nd hand cards away, by all means, you are also allowed to add some of your own

Have you already send the package to the next person in line Sarnie?

Just wondering Sarnie, have you already send the package to Noodlerabbit88?

Sorry there was a short intermission while I searched my house for the large padded envelopes I know I have - but I have failed to find !
For some reason the original envelope now appears to be too small but I had to use it in the end and crammed them in.
It is now on it's way to Noodlerabbit88 - and I hope she has a lovely new padded envelope.

    Many apologies x

Will this same collection be coming round again ?
It will be very embarrassing if ones own ATCs remain - but not surprising obviously !

PS - The American artist I liked so much is called Jo Schram who lives in California - I have never come across her in AFA !
    She does really interesting collage.

The Dutch artist is called Els Andree Wiltens from Lelystad - she specialises in collage too but rather vintage.

All the ATCs I selected to keep are several years old, as are some of the ones I donated.

Good to hear that the package is travelling again Sarnie.
Too bad you couldn't find that envelope. I know the feeling knowing you have something but can't find it. Lol.

Sarnie, you are also on the World Wide list. And yes, this same package (ofcouse not exactly the same since people are swapping constantly I hope) will meet you again on that list.
The cards from Jo Schram are probably cards I put in. Since I am not a huge collector of collaged cards and I have loads of hers, I thought to add some to the package.
I don't know Els Andree Wiltens, but I'm guessing her cards would be added by Nicky probably since they live in the same city. Or is that just a coincidence Nicky? Lol.

Anyway, thanks for the update and Noodlerabbit88, expect the envelope to sit in your mailbox soon!!!
