Some great looking cards being posted!

I have discovered a small fixable problem.

I seemed to have lost big to studio! I was moving her to homers only but I can't find her anywhere.

If someone could pm me her total entry on the list so I can put her back and send an update I would be forever grateful!

This 2 list thing is making me a bit nuts until I get a routine down to making changes. I think I deleted the wrong list once I moved her.

I wish I could put it all on one list again. Going to play around with it and see what I can do.

Might try removing all the stuff that makes us able to click on the name and go to the profile page from the list as you can do it from page one of the thread.

Does anyone see a reason I should not do that?

And can anyone else think of anything else that might allow us all to be on the same list?

Ideas are asked for and appreciated!

Xstitcher, as far as one list. I don't know if it allows you more characters or not, but you don't have to double space all the info. It could all be singe spaced. Would that change anything? Also, the likes and dislikes could be a separate list or actually on the first post of the thread by the names there since dislikes aren't really private things. That would free up some space.

These are sooo adorable.

These were started by Mace and worked on by Pixi and then me. I think Mace did the backgrounds and bears, Pixi added the stockings, and I added the houses, snow, and borders.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my request for big toe studio’s information.

I managed to get it back to 1 list.

I found a way to remove lots of characters:

I changed Dislike to No

condensed some of the dislikes so check yours

and

cleaned up the addresses


Kentuckydakota spaces don’t make any difference, just characters.

I would rather not take the dislikes away from the address list because from experience I know it is confusing when you have to jump between 2 lists to do something. I managed to loose big toe studio for goodness sake!

For now it will work and I hope we can add a name or two before I have to make any more changes.

As I posted earlier one thing that would free up lots of characters would be to get rid of the links to the profile pages. We have them on the 1st page of the thread for ease of iTraders and I can’t think of any other reason we need them on the address list.

If anyone else has a reason to keep them please tell us. Sometimes I don’t see the forest for the trees, if you know what I mean.


Sent the update and everyone but lafaver55 received it.

I know I am a bit late at chiming in on the whole list issue, I just wanted to say, as far as I am concerned you get the medal for running this hole shidig, so anything you can do to make that task less of a pallahva, YOU DO IT!!!! *thunderous cheer erupts from MASSIVE crown gathered to honor the boss for doing such a great job* YYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!

Hey, I just had an idea for an exchange that I haven't seen anything like on here before, and it was inspired by someone's scrabble tile project that is here on the forum, but I can't remember who............BTW, apologies that this is a teeeeeeeeeeeny bit off topic...

What she did was to take nearly a whole board full of scrabble tiles and just paste one interesting picture on each one....all sorts of topics from Charlie Chaplin to the Starbuck's Coffee logo. They looked SO interesting and compelling all arranged together that I set out to do something like that myself. My idea for the group is to do one of those big box exchanges like is going on with the 90 card box that is currently circling the globe to be added to and taken from at each stop. I thought with something like that someone could do magnets, pendants, or just have a cool little collection of doo-dads to play with when you feel like it. You could use them as tiles around a picture frame, or on a trinket box, or anything that needed a little jujjing up!!

Again, please forgive the BLATANT off topicness, promise I won't make a habit of it, I just wanted to get some fb on this from a big group of COOL gals, and what better place for that than this?????????????????????? Anyone who wants to chime in can pm me if they like.

Well, finally managed to find this thread again...after forgetting to re-subscribe !
All the posted sets have been great/lovely.

Just want to mention that I love Christmas-themed sets, if anyone is looking for second or third holiday set artists.

I think this would be a lot of fun if the one who began it made all the tiles in the set then had a second blank set that could be worked on by other players who couldn't/ didn't want to buy some of their own to do. Then everyone takes a couple and leaves some and it just goes on forever. I feel like that would be too much fun.

Mom got a letter from sweetgypsy with two finished piggy cards (that are ridiculously cute!) and a starter set.
And I got a letter from Allegrae with awesome button starters and a Japanese homer card - I love what you and v_rose added to that one!

I got a homer today that was worked on by myself, CastleQueen5 and TopShelf (darlene). It turned out beautifully!

I also just finished a set started by Allegrae (Also with buttons) and worked on by Nancy and myself. I'll get them mailed off soon
