~Buddy Cards (2 player cards, 2 artists)~
Welcome to any artists who like to make art with more than one person.
~HOW TO TRADE.... Please Read~
~Player 1 starts it off by making 2 cards. On the back put AFA (HD or MM) Buddy Cards so we know where it came from and which technique group. Also your user name and return address.
~Post the cards in this thread and find someone who agrees to complete the starters.
~Set up the trade with this person and mail both cards to Player 2. These trades are each individual and there is no commitment for future trades so do not mail anything that has not been agreed to by both parties involved.
~Player 2 will complete both cards in technique agreed upon Hand Drawn only or Mixed Media. Many people do not want religious, Political, gory, sexual or adult topics. Communicate with your trade buddy before you use any of these. And then add user name to the back. They will keep 1 card and mail the other one back to Player 1.
~Both players give itraders when they complete the trade.
All Cards
~ATCs need to be 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" an excellent way to mail sets is in a single row cut from a 9 pocket page. It not only keeps all the cards neat and together, it fits perfectly and stays flat in a legal size envelope.
~Other sizes are welcome too as long as the second artist is willing to work on sizes other than ATCs.
~~No gluing glitter is allowed since it can get messy for other players. You may use a glitter paint such as Stickles, which will not shed glitter.
Hand Drawn / Painted Group
~"All additions to Hand Drawn/ Painted ATC must be [hand drawn, painted, marker or color pencil art. Additions can be HP/HD on another piece of paper, cut out, and glued to the ATC. Only HD/HD art is allowed, meaning no collage or gluing of pre-printed materials, and no stamping."
~Painted technique backgrounds are not allowed in Hand Drawn Group. A paint technique background is a random background usually done on larger paper and then cut into atcs. It does not include a painted background that represents something like a sunset, sky, land, mountains or water.
Mixed Media/Collage Group
~ When starting a Mixed Media/ Collage Buddy set you need to do more than slap a piece of paper on a background. Please make interesting starters it will be easier to find someone who wants to complete the trade.
~Please do your best work, If you slap a sticker with an ugly white border onto a lovely mixed media background you probably will have trouble getting the first player to do another set with you later.
Jams are not a part of this thread. Jams are when player 1 starts only one card it is passed to two or three other people to work on. Then mailed back to the first person who makes good quality copies for each person who worked on their card.
