Thanks Natasha.
Thanks Natasha.
LOL Sorry NatashaMay the Rooster and Red paintbrush were remakes from the RRs for BekaH. I'm not sure I want to do yet another set. But you most certainly can if you wish.

no problem, Linda![]()
Linda, you can add me to both groups, please :-)
I promise, my friends, that I'll post something soon...hades has broken out at work this week; it figures! Maybe this weekend, I'll come up with something!
As enthused as I am about trying the buddy cards, for some reason I'm also a bit scared and intimidated....maybe experience will help with those issues! LOL

Linda, here are the finished rooster cards. I hope you like them. The second was much easier, since I had a reference. The first was more difficult as I had to figure out what I wanted to do with it

Oh I'm glad you like them... I was a little concerned, but I thought they were cute :-)
Very cute rooster cards you two.
ok, since I've never done this type thing before, here's a question; if starting a set of buddy cards, do I draw a subject on both cards leaving the everything else blank first? or do the backgrounds and let someone else add the subjects??
I didn't realize this would be quite this difficult. lol

It can be done both ways. I think it is easier to draw something first. Drawing on a background may complicate things. But the second person may draw on separate paper carefully (fussy-cut) cut it out and glue it onto a background.
If doing Mixed Media you can definitely do the background first. There are a lot of samples in our original HD RR thread. But remember there were three artisit so some of the starters had very little on them.

Great additions to my butterfly cards Mace. Love them.
Asilla, we cant really scan the back of a card because it has peoples addresses on them and those are private. Some people use address labels and with there only being 2 in the swap you could write it width wise if you wanted to write instead of use a label. There is plenty of room, really!

Asilla,
I made up a fake card out of an envelope so you could see how we do the back. There is plenty of room with just 2 people. The names and street address are fictitious so it is okay to post this. A lot of us also write in what we have done to the card under are names but it isn't mandatory. I wrote extra big and you see there is still room. Hope that helps.

By the way Linda is there going to be a don'ts list for people that don't like stickers, or religious, or whatever? I don't want to offend anyone.
