    Colour is right, don't freak out if you do something you don't like! Paint/gesso over it, make it a flower or a bird! LOL Who was it...Bob Ross or something like that, he did paint lessons on tv. And he'd say if you make a mistake....here, now it's a bird.

    Just saw this thread! So much inspiration!

    I also had/have a bunch of journals/sketchbooks started but not finished. I put them all in one place, and I've started working on just filling them in with "whatever" - I gave up trying to get them all to have a theme. Have completed a few that way and it feels good!

    Earlier in the year I filled a regular paper moleskine full of little characters. Ink, watercolor, colored pencil, tape, etc. Not necessarily appropriate media for the paper, so it's kind of raw and wrinkly. It was low pressure and turned out to be one of my favorite journals!

    Wow JoyFlower, your journal sounds like it is filled with the cutest things! How fun that must be to go back and look through them and see all these adorable faces peeking out!
    The 'earth' without 'art' is just 'eh'.

    Sounds like a neat journal!! I need to work on my drawing one more.
