Centralia Washington Meet up June 10th 2016

Hello! It's that time again for a small get together. Gee, this will be the 3rd annual meet up for us! If you are in our area and wanna meet a few AFA'ers in person, come join us on June 10th 9'ish in the am. The plan is to meet up at Lindylu's place. Once we're all together we're off for some window shopping. Last time it was some thrift store and art store gawking. Lunch is always a must! This year I believe we will be going to the Olympic Club Again just a small bunch of us spending the day together, getting to know each other...a very relaxed meet up. Who's in?!

I just looked it up, and it's only a 17.24 hour drive with no traffic, ha! I would LOVE to come to this, and could maybe tack it onto a long overdue trip to see some other friends who moved to the area. Hmmmmmn.

Shame you lovies can't do this right around the SeARTle event (which is taking place this weekend.) I'd definitely add on an extra day to the trip to have lunch with you dollfaces.

Hmmm, I'll have to see what I might be able to do. I was hoping for a getaway in September to walk the rim up at Crater Lake. This looks fun and it'd certainly be fabulous to meet some of the others in person.

Oh my gosh, there's a train that goes there! I'll look into this as a possible to do. I'd need to get from the train station to somewhere, but I'll worry about that after I explore the timing a bit more.

I'm about an hour away from Centralia, but unfortunately work M - F and wouldn't be able to join you as June 10 is a Friday. Hoping next time though!

This year we're staying in the downtown area where we park for free & everything is within walking distance. Many, many antique/collectable/thrift stores to wander through. We will visit Hub Bub again..this is a must see!

TrinaLD; the train station is right behind the Olympic Club. If you decide to come we can meet you at the station & go from there. I hope you can make it.

Nanner; that's a mighty long drive but we'd love to have you.

We always work this get together around Mel's vacation trip to see her folks in Battle Ground. She has a whole bunch of peeps to coordinate with & this is the day that works best for their schedule.

I am interested! It sounds like a lovely day with everything in walking distance.

My husband and I have something going on that weekend with his family so I need to make sure I am clear on the time frames for that stuff before I fully commit.

I'm sorry about the odd day. I know that Saturday would be the better day. I live in California...drive up to Washington to see my parents & husband once a year. (Hubby is stationed in Seattle...military...) They come down once or twice a year to my place...long story short we don't see each other as much as we want. So, to take away even one Saturday in my two week stay would upset them.

SeARTtle...I'm always missing it by the skin of my teeth. My kids school schedule just doesn't allow me to make it.

One day...it'll happen...

I will ask 1 favor of everyone, though: Please, please bring me a small painted rock with your screen name & date on the back. I want to start a collection of each year that we get together. If you don't have any rocks you can paint one here..I have a zillion of them I will put out a pile of rocks, craft paint & sharpies & you can get to it.
