Hi Ancient planter - we were writing our posts at the same time so I didn't see it, sorry.

An ATART is an All Types of ART marathon - some people make LOTS of cards every day, others make a few cards over the entire marathon and others just like to look at all the beautiful creations and chat with friends.
It is up to you as to how many you make, and they DON'T have to follow the suggestions for each day - they are just there to get your Muse thinking. You may find a day has NO themes which appeal to you while another day you like all of them and just keep making those themes - both of these have happened to me before. Sometimes your Muse will come back to a day's theme well after it was suggested - doesn't matter.

If you can't manage to transfer pictures of your creations to the thread just refer people to your Gallery - I see that you can add pictures there. If you scroll to almost the bottom of the 'Category' list when you are loading your pictures you will notice the 'A-THON GALLERY' - this makes it easier to see what is available for this ATART/Athon.
If you go to the main Gallery page (click on the white GALLERY cloud at the top of the page) and scroll down to the A-thon Gallery heading you will find all the cards still available for this Athon (and can ask for them in trade).

Please feel free to ask all the questions you have (I know that I had LOTS during my first Athon) either in this thread or by sending me a PM. There are lots of people happy to help you.

NOTE TO EVERYBODY - PLEASE move your cards to the appropriate TRADED Gallery as soon as they trade. It is very frustrating to be asking for a card that traded days ago.
We understand that they will not be moved immediately as we all have lives and are off creating (and are spread over countless time zones) but cards should not languish for days after being traded.

Ancient Planter, I hope we are both especially creative on Friday the 30th as that is a wedding anniversary for BOTH of us! (16th for you, 27th for me)

Thanks for the invite. I plan to play. I hope my muse will let me. I always have good intentions to play, but... I think I'll work on some backgrounds.

    I'm checking in, Donna!
I also want to find out if it's okay to post art that is NOT for trade here.
I'll be working on art for sale and/or in my journals for a class and an art challenge. While I may get some done for trade, most probably will not. Will it bother folks if I share here?

seriously - it is wonderful inspiration for the rest of us. I look forward to seeing what you make.

I really think this a-thon is long enough I may actually get some things made for trade. I always INTEND to, but the past couple of months have been so busy other things get in the way and then the a-thon is over and there ya go. Outta time and nothing to trade.
Thanks for being open to me sharing whatever the heck I'm working on.

Ducky - I actually met Joy in a card making class that I do in my current home town of Gladstone. I talked her into joining this site and, even though she makes the most beautiful cards in class, she has not yet joined a swap here.
I have told her what a lovely, friendly group we are and am hoping that she will manage to trade some of her creations during this ATART.
