My hubby posted mine this afternoon. It's amazing how many you can get in a 50g envelope. I don't mind what I get in return.

Remember that you only send 30g of napkins as the lightest envelope I could find takes up the rest of the weight.

I don't mind if I get slightly less back. I didn't think to weigh just the napkins. My envelope (which was a 9 x6), full with dollar and lable weighed 47g, so it won't be far out.

I've not used napkins in my APCs yet, but I LOVED the effect on the middle ply, just a hint of the pattern that was on the napkins, so I might well use those at some stage.

nancyL - I will keep an eye out for them.

ann stebbing and kynara - that would give a beautiful 'ghost' effect to your background, very subtle.
If I want to give parts of my design extra weight I will often add a 2nd layer or back that part of the design with plain, toning paper.
My favourite way of using napkins on APCs is to attach them with beeswax - this gives a wonderful sheen to your finished product (and smells great while you are creating)

Put mine in the mail today. Just hope they get there in one piece. I swear the postal machines try to eat the envelopes.

I think I got over excited in stuffing my envelope with napkins... so right now you will be getting napkins but nuttin' else.... forgot my address label and postage cost...

but now the good news... since I forgot my 'other' stuff I am stuffing a smaller envelope and using my allotted weight for address label and postage cost and what's left will be a few more napkins... (more then one way to skin this duck... oh oh ouch..)

dsign49 - I wrote a post for you but obviously forgot to push 'Post' I will tell you when they arrive

Just Ducky - I think that was Ducky trying to tell you that you needed more napkins so please don't skin him (at least wait until it is a little hotter - you don't want him turning blue from the cold)

I can't wait to see these napkins coming my way - I must stand up and admit it. . . I am a napkin addict. hang head in shame
I cannot store the napkins that I have at the moment but I cannot resist a really cute napkin in the store (ANY store )

oooo a napkin swap! I've wanted to do one of these since forever! Count me in! So are we sending in different napkins or multiples of each? And should I assume $1 per 6-9 napkins?

Jennifer - it is up to you what you send in but I recommend stripping them of their linings as this swap is per ounce. You send me an ounce of napkins for $1 - as many as you can fit and I will send you back an ounce of OTHER napkins.

Are there any patterns/colours that you DON'T want?

Jennifer - isn't it great to get some variety? Do you need my address again? (still at Mallard Court)
