I got the girls home with the bows in their hair, ThouartDelyrias, posted a photo. I haven't decided which one to keep. I will be sending Maggie, the homer from this set, this week. Maggie if you have a preference let me know. I have the red one and the green one.

Those are beautiful, Allegrae! I have received a chock-full envelope from Allegrae with 2 sets of starters, and one finisher. I have ideas for all of them.

You are not a slacker! There are no time lines for getting cards out so don't feel bad.

I haven't been around since then, but it's been quite a few thread changes for me - I think I came in around 4? Anyway, tomorrow I might actually work on the small stack of cards I have waiting (though I have some sewing which needs doing as well, so we'll see how long that takes...)

Wow, Becka and Cinlan. I am impressed and surprised at how the green card turned out. You never really know what the outcome will be when you are starting with such a blank canvas.

I always think of this quote when I am working on the cards.
I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.
    Michelangelo.

    He also said.

The marble not yet carved can hold the form of every thought the greatest artist has.

So I think. "Oh wow who knew PIGLET, was hiding in there?" Or a frog on a bicycle etc. You get the idea, when I get the card back.

Has anyone received/worked on some cards from me that were pastel colors with silhouettes of lake/nature scenes? I can't remember who I sent them to and I was wondering if they were still floating around out there.
Not currently hosting but definitely participating!!
