The prompts, challenges, and ideas that we all throw out there and that I have written up are all OPTIONAL.
I only posted those in case someone needs inspiration. I personally listed ones that I know I have not done and thus want to challenge myself. That was the whole idea for me (personally) to host this so that I can get better at making inchies by challenging myself.

Feel free to ignore them, use some or all, or even come up with your own. Please do share if you come up with your own

Is anyone ready for this?? Finally it is almost here! I'll be closing this thread down on the evening of the 14th and making the new one as well. For those that get a head start on their day it should be up in time

I'll be cutting my inchies up here shortly out of the bigger watercolor paper....and hunt down some beads to help out. I think I need to find glitter to make a mini shaker inchie.

I have some in mind, and am hoping to put that to paper/pen/paint soon.

    Can't wait for the Inchie-A-Thon!

When I am making inchies, I find it is much easier to draw/paint/collage on a larger surface and then use my inchie punch as a "viewfinder" to frame up and punch inchies from the larger work.

There is so much great art on this site! A lot of un-traded art from marathons has been cached in people's galleries and I was remembering all the fun as the art came up on my screen. I'm always inspired to see what others have created. Gets me started . . . Inchie marathon here I come!

Went to the card store yesterday and found kitty note-cards that have 14 little kitty images. 12 are the right size for inchies and 2 are just right for twinchies. I'll be cutting up a couple of those cards tomorrow as part of my prep.

Yay Kitties! I am always up for trading kitty inchies.

I love those wall calendars with a cat picture on each day - the little pictures are the perfect size for inchies!

Once this a-thon is over I'll be strolling through the gallery as well... maybe I'll some inchies that I can add to my collections?
I'm looking to find some nice ones to add into a miniature inchie book.

    Oh those kittens sound cute!

I think I have ideas already for the inchies I want to make. I am thinking about how to approach a shaker inchie...

I used the inchies I cut up for this a-thon for a swap...and personal trade. Now I have to cute more when I get home. I did get some sketches done that I'll need to re-draw smaller to fit on an inchie.

Still not sure if I want to do an inchie sized turtle paper doll or not... I want to do a paper doll but cannot figure out of what. >.<

I have these ideas down: Pokemon theme, rinchie, clay inchie, elephant, cut-outs, mini accordian book, bees knees, anthropomorphic food, kitten mischief

15 minutes before midnight here in Australia but I just can't stay up any longer. Back in the morning to see what has been created.

I'm working on getting the post written out right now for the official a-thon thread. I'll post it before I head out from work because I know once I get home I'll not be able to touch the computer.
