Aww I am sorry to hear about that! I am actually making some and I think I have a few that are those size. Which ones did you make?
I currently have a rhino, and I believe the bee is that size as well? I'll have to double check when I get home.

BTW - you do know that the deadline is still well over a month away right?

Yes, thank you, I do know that the swap deadline is a month away. My deadline was last week. For the next 29 days I have a goal of no swaps or trades as I build up my stock of art to sell. I have work in 3 stores now, and I have one commission piece that I just finished and another yet to do. Here are my first two in a new series of
4"X 4" canvas blocks done in acrylic. It is not my favorite medium, so each one is a challenge! And I'll definitely trade any of my animals for a rhino! (2 tortoises, 1 lizard and a toucan)

Oh wow! Congrats on the busy art life! What fun it must be to just experiment with mediums and still do something creative while getting paid for it.
I really love these...the details also are amazing! They look so big but I know they are small (chunky sized) yet the details make them look so large. Really wonderful skills you have!
Thank you for sharing those! We need more art shared in this thread LOL!

And all right, if that is the case then let me finish the smaller paper dolls as well (most likely completed when the swap is over). I'll be posting one big image of all of them so you can take your pick for the smaller ones. I think I'll be going with a tortoise and a toucan paper doll.

Thank you! I will hold on to them all and let you decide after the swap is over.

First of all - welcome to AFA! I hope you enjoy this place as much as the rest of us do! Feel free to ask any questions if you have them.
I find it exciting that someone new has taken an interest in a swap hosted by me. XD Thank you for that.

And you have been added to the player list.

    How is everyone else doing?
Just making sure you guys know that we are just a month away from the deadline.
International players should send their paper dolls in advance due to shipping (sometimes it takes 3 weeks).

For anyone new to paper doll making: PLEASE ask any questions you might have here... do not feel shy. You won't know unless you ask.
And if you need any help (ideas, suggestions, etc) then please ask in this thread.
We're all very helpful here at AFA...no one bites (not that I am aware).

You can also PM me if you do not want to ask here, I would be happy to help!

Can are dolls be quite whimsical and/or abstract? For example, Carla Sonheim's work: http://carlasonheim.com/. I've grown quite fond of her style.

Art style or medium do not matter for this art! so yes you can do that!

Only effort matters...as effort is traded for effort.

And thanks for sharing that link...I love that slug on the top
