I think I mentioned I am not really phobic of anything.

Then I saw heights and that reminded me of the freak out I get sometimes when I am driving on the freeway on an overpass. That fits a real phobia.

Hmmm, let me give this some thought. I'll lurk until I see if I can make some cards.

It must have slipped my mind, to ask to sign up. Thank you for the reminder! I try to complete my cards before signing up, and sometimes I do forget the signing up part

Here are my first 2 cards.

Fear of butterflies and moths, as well as fear of enclosed places.

Nice job there pancake machine, I really like the faces, in the flowers. Is that a stamp? It looks the same each time, so I think a stamp. Very creative way to represent the fear.

Not a stamp. The faces are all hand drawn. I did have a stencil to make the circles for the eyes, but that is all.

Congrats Vicki!- except the flowers are collage. I'm trying to force myself to draw some. It is still rudimentary and not as good as I want it to be, but I've been doing it some anyways.

    Talking Finished Cards

The only true phobia that I have is of heights and it's pretty bad. I did have fun creating these ATC's though.

Oh that sounds very interesting - I really like cards that grab you in unexpected ways like that.

I wonder if there is a fear of your kids throwing away all your atc cards when you die? Silly cause when you are dead you wont really know what folks are doing with the stuff you felt compelled to collect.

You could will your ATC Collection to a designated individual.
That way, legally, your kids can't throw them away, and they would go to someone who would appreciate them.

I added a paragraph about my ATC collection in my will when I took out an insurance rider on my rubber stamps, scrapbook paper, Halloween punches, water colors, acrylic paints, decorative scissors, color markers, metallic pens, and other craft supplies. The insurance agent accused me of over-inflating the worth, and had to come out and look. Then he asked me how I counted everything. I told him: one, two, three, four..........

He is a Royal Dink, but in the end he thought I might have under estimated worth.
    Anyone else insure their stamps?
I know Donnacr does, because she re-takes an inventory for insurance purposes every time she moves.

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been a little MIA. I've been checking in, but not posting a lot. I started teaching again this week, so I have been EXHAUSTED!
SillyLily41, your cards have arrived. Thank you for the stickers I have always loved stickers. We've been doing some hauling out of boxes in the garage (it has only taken us the 2 years since we bought the house), and I found 2 3-ring binders FULL of my sticker collection from when I was a kid. And no, those are not getting hauled out of here.
If your cards have arrived, I will be catching up on leaving itrader at some point this weekend.
Thank you all for keeping the thread active and interesting! Vicki Z, it never occurred to me to insure my art supplies, but you are correct - it would cost SO MUCH to replace everything if something happened. That is some smart thinking!
