    I had a student bring up one of the erasers today (I cut them in half, so we don't use as many) and he said something about tryophobia, because of the little holes on the inside. I actually knew what he was talking about. Lol.

    That's awesome Vicki - I'm so not surprised you wanted it! (heck, I'll admit I would have probably wanted it too!) Without triggering anyone's emetophobia, I suppose it does depend on the said expulsion. I've always liked the euphemism, "yawning in technicolor"

    How old was this child who knew what tryophobia was?

    Does anyone else get motion sickness when scrolling through the thread, trying to find a specific post?

    Oh, Vicki, I was so sad to hear about the evils of some humans who could do that to a harmless (and helpful) little snake. When I was a kid, my backyard was a mountain and I'd climb there and rip my pants and pick up the snakes and the grasshoppers and fly with the butterflies and make needles and thread from some of the cacti. I just can't imagine being mean like that person.

    Castlequeen! Yes, absolutely. I particularly have problems since I have double vision.

    It seems everyone has at least one phobia, so I was checking to see if I had a phobia I had not really thought about.

    Then I looked at the Sunday paper grocery adds.......

    Pumpkin Coffee; Pumpkin Spice Creamer; Pumpkin Spice Mini Wheats, Pumpkin Spice Special K, Pumpkin Spice Cheerios, Pumpkin Spice Life, and Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal, and Pumpkin Spice Generic Cereals;
    Pumpkin Pie Bar Mix, Cookie Mix, Cake Mix, Frosting Mix, Pumpkin Spice Quick Bread Mix, Plus Pumpkin Spice Twinkies, Cupcakes, and Jet-Puffed Pumpkin Spice Marshmallows.

    If I don't have it yet, by the end of October I think I will have Cucurbitophobia.

    Ha ha ha! They certainly have gone overboard with the pumpkin flavored everything. Having said that, I am slightly addicted to dunkin' donuts' pumpkin swirl frozen coffee (and I may actually be drinking one this moment)

    Ok so I googled actual Pumpkin spice items. GUM, chips, oreos,

    But this one takes the cake, "Pumpkin spice cake", of course.

    Those are great Prex! I particularly like the hash marks on the 13 card. Cool work!
