I am going to be doing abstract acrylic paintings for the ATART. I may do something more realistic to. I just need to shake the painting rust from my tiny fingers.

cats_n_dogs that sounds fun. I have trouble wrapping my head around abstract. The closest I think I get to it is my when I'm making backgrounds for collage. My husband laughs at me because I complained that I "just don't understand zetti art" and I thought it was weird. a year or so later I was hosting my own zetti swap. So maybe there is still some hope for abstract art in my future. LOL

If anyone needs any abstracts for their collections, pm me color selections and a desired basic shape(s). I'll post it to group and see if you like it.

I was looking at my word cling stamps. There is one that reads Dinner is poured. That does not really interest me, as a stamp to keep. I still need to match up the sets and pull the extras and make some cards. But hey there is always tomorrow.

Hi Suze, hope you are able to jump in and make some art.

cats_n_dogs I don't know if I have anything to trade. I guess my favorite would be red, But I like a lot of color combinations, black and white cards with just a little red ; Warm colors or cool colors or jeweltones (I guess they are often cool colors) : or red and purple.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2aB2fzeQfgThis is a creepy zombie doll tutorial. I bought the great stuff and primer paint yesterday. I have a couple of 11 1/2 inch dollar store dolls I thought I'd play with.

I got an early start. I am trying to do some art everyday. This is from 9/26 and 9/27.The scan doesn't show it's rounded corners. It was a playing card until it got a gesso and acrylic coating.

CastleQueen one of the things I have been working on is trying to gather up some quotes I get printed out when I go into town Thursday. So I can make a few more of those APCs. But I have two encaustic wax paintings I did today in my gallery. I would like one of them to find a home with you, as a thank you for the rehomed quote stamps. I am sorry but my husband called dibs on the third one. He likes sending cards with my art to his Aunt.

I may make more but I don't know for sure.

LOL I'm glad you jumped right in there. I was supposed to go to town Monday but my prescription wasn't in. Today was my husbands day to do his errands. I have to go tomorrow.

Those are beautiful. I like them both but moonlight speaks to me more.

I am going to head to my craft room shortly and start with the quotes.

    Thanks for the invite Linda.
I'm bookmarking this. I will try to participate I've been at my son's house for most of September and have a few unfinished projects I intend to finish when I get home. I will go home tomorrow so your ATART came at a perfect time for me. Those unfinished projects include paper mâché critters, embroidered DOD skulls and crochet. I haven't played with my markers much in the last few weeks so drawing will probably be in that mix too.
    Looking forward to it.
Make some art, then make some more.
