LOL good to so many dropping in and bookmarking us. Even if you don't get around to working on your own art, having you chime in from time to time will help keep us motivated. Hugs to all of you.

Here is my card, I have 2 of these sentiments, The card is up for adoption, and the cling is for Linda if she doesn't already own it.

About the face. There is a place called the Poetry corner which is part of the University of Arizona. They send a flyer to my adult son about every 3 months. This face was one of the speakers. Can you imagine that is your photo for a flyer about a poetry reading? It is perfect for this card. Now I wish I had made a copy of her photo cause it is a hoot and would be great on other cards. In the past I have copied the whole flyer cause the faces are so amazing, but I forgot this time.

Thanks for the heads up, Linda! I hope I can get something done this weekend with you all! I have so many things going at once, it's hard to get focused. I will at least pop in to ooh and ah.

Awesome CastleQueen5 I not only do not have it, but I've never heard that quote, cute. I don't have many quotes that aren't Travel related. B

How about we go head and start this thing a few hours early. I am going to be busy part of the day tomorrow and I want to PLAY!

I have a question on this art project. I had this picture made into a poster 18x24 inches.
Now I want to put it on a canvas same size. Here is the problem. The poster is just a little bigger, so do I cut it just the size and paint the sides black or make it small enough to have a little black edge. Now I want to use Mode Podge to put it on the canvas. Do I use matte or gloss.
    This is the poster.

So what did you decide to do? I have never done anything like this before.

Too bad you already paid to enlarge it. I am pretty sure staples can print photos to a canvas for you. They had s big in store display s few years ago. I'm not sure on the black edges, I think they would blend in. But I hate midge podge and won't use it for anything. I know I am probably in the minority. I hope it turns out great.

Yes I wasn't thinking international. I got two cards done last night. One for a PIF one to trade. But I need to get to my errands. I am going try to make it a quick dah do (day so) I can play. Ohhhh and I started playing with my zombie dolls. I don't know if it's going to work on the small 11 1/2 inch dolls. What would be blisters on a bigger doll are huge deformed bumps on these dolls.

Checking in! Hoping to get some cards made today, still drinking coffee and waiting for my Muse to show up... Can't wait to see what everyone is working on. CQ5- that picture on your ATC is great! I can't imagine using that as my professional picture lol!
