I love your cards, Ann! How clever to do the same tree in different seasons. For some reason, I never considered that. I was thinking of doing very different trees that you might expect to see at their best in a specific season. Is that ok, Prex?

As long as there is a clear indication visually of the season, you can do it either way.

Beautiful trees Ann, there is so much detail in there.

Thank you for the compliments ladies. I thought they looked a little pale in the photos, as I used pencils this time (though the leaves are watercolour). I'm trying to improve my pencil skills (plus my current addiction seems to be buying watercolour pencils). I now have a huge range, but I love playing with them.

I did a set of embroidery trees using the same basic shape and different techniques, that's what gave me the idea for using the same tree for each season. The hostie is a surprise though!

Spring and summer are done using pitt artist pen and copics. The tree in the autumn card is pitt artist pen and watercolor pencils, and the sky is copics. Winter is pitt artist pen and watercolor pencil.

    Lovely set, ChronicReader!
Both sets shared look so lovely together as a set. It's almost a shame to have to break them up.
