Thanks Amerasu. I guess we'll see what nightowl has decided tomorrow. Drum roll, please!

Hi folks, I've been having a very hard time getting logged into the site since the server "upgrade". I've tried clearing my browsers cache and cookies, hitting refresh over and over and sometimes I get logged on and sometimes I just give up. Seems to be real hit or miss. I almost gave up trying to get on tonight but then suddenly, after typing my user name and password in a half dozen times and hitting refresh over and over...bingo...I'm on.

Since I didn't get or see a confirmation from Fandanie about the 6x6 size I went and paired plumhill with Amerasu (welcome Amerasu by the way

    Here we go....

    plumhill2001 - Amerasu
    OldsLady1992 - ruthe
    vikinglady - aginghippychic
    Fandanie - synjin
    Barkesm - Kynara

I don't know if it helps or not, but I just stay logged in. I haven't had a lot of problems.

I would stay logged in if I could figure out how. Even if I check the box "remember me", I time out after awhile and have to log in again.

That is weird. Mine never time outs. I don't think I checked the remember me box. Sorry, I'm not very helpful!

Sinjin’s canvas goes in the mail tomorrow morning I’ve messaged him.
I’m sorry about not confirming about the 6x6. I’m having a bit of a problem with the site. I write a message and try to post. Sometimes it goes through sometimes not.
It’s very frustrating. Now, I take the time to make certain it posts before going on to other posts.

That's right, amerasu! Top secret! I've made a start on yours. Hope to finish it over the weekend.

I am very sad to have to say my mother passed away today. I will still try to get Sue’s canvas finished before the end of the month. I was going to work on it this weekend but now that won’t happen. I appreciate the kindness and understanding of this group.
I'm always up for a trade; let me know if you're interested!

Joan, please do not give my canvas one moment's worry. It is far more important to be with your friends and family right now to help you through the grieving process. To lose one's mother is devastating to the soul so please just look after yourself right now. The canvas can wait - indefinitely. Meanwhile, please send pm me your mailing address at your earliest convenience. I should have your canvas done next week.

Amerasu, I am looking forward to seeing your canvas. I love your fun and quirky style and I'm sure you'll delight Plumhill, with something amazing.

Hmmmm... 6x6 canvas? Could we maybe have a month where we swapped 6x6 canvases instead of 5x7? What do you think Nightowl and the group? It's easier for me to get this size canvas than the 5x7 for some reason.

Looking forward to seeing all of this month's canvases.

Ah! I may have started something! I kind of like the square format for a change, but I'm fine with either.

    I mailed Amerasu's canvas today.

I had a small problem at the post office. He was going to charge me $9.70 to mail the canvas. I told him that the other postal worker had said that it would only be about $3.50 if I put the canvas in a paper envelope rather than a bubble envelope. Since it was 6x6 I couldn't fit it in a 6x9 envelope, so I got the next size larger, put the canvas in and folded it in half and taped it. He wasn't sure at first that it qualified for the lower rate, but did finally relent. So I did get to send it for the lower amount. (Actually, for about $2.70!) I may have to request a non-international partner next time. I may not be so lucky again and I really can't afford that kind of postage. It's not fair to the international folks, I know.

AHC, I am so sorry for your loss. My Pop left us for his final journey a few years ago. It can be difficult. Positive Waves your way!
