    Mandala Madness–HandDrawn/HandPainted & Mixed Media ATCs-Due March 27th

Swap Due Date – 27th March
    Number of Cards - 3 for 3 or 6 for 6
    Number of participants - unlimited
Media – Hand Drawn/Hand Painted & small amount of Collage – no chunky embelishments please.

    Mandala Madness – HD/HP & Mixed Media ATCs - Due 27th March

I have been playing with drawing and colouring Mandalas. After I did a couple I cut them up into ATC size. This one was drawn on an A4 sheet and although it took ages I made 9 mandala ATCs out of it. On the couple that had blank white space I added a toning postage stamp or scrap. You can see the rest in my gallery. I thought it would be a great idea for a swap. Draw your own mandala, colour it and cut it up into ATCs. You’ll get 3 or 6 different mandala pieces back.

    Attachment 191643 Attachment 191642

    The cards:

-Each card must be ATC size, exactly 2.5" x 3.5" and on a sturdy base (cardstock, bristol, watercolor paper, chipboard), and sent in its own plastic sleeve.
    - Send work into which you put time, imagination and care, and would be happy to receive! I will attempt to trade effort for effort.
    - Each card must be original, no copies.
    - Label all cards with at least your real name, AFA username, date, location and name of the swap. A host card is not required but will be a very treasured addition to my growing collection.

    Postage/Mailing:

When taping the cards together, just a little washi tape works great to keep them in place while mailing (don’t use ordinary masking tape – it’s a nightmare and ruins the plastic sleeves). Please post in this thread when you are sending your cards out.

US Players: please send a well concealed $1 (for 3) or $2 (for 6) in with your cards.
Other International Players: Please send $1 (for 3) or $2 (for 6) in your envelope if you have them. Failing that PM me for paypal details.
All players please include a large address label with your address neatly printed. I will provide envelopes.
Please PM me if you need my address when you are ready to send your cards. I have not moved. Please write your username and Swap Name on the back of your envelopes.

Make sure you allow your cards enough mailing time to get to me, late cards will be returned to the artist, unswapped, at their expense. Lack of communication and lack of ATCs may result in Neutral iTrader given. Please, please communicate.

Players - when you receive your cards for the swap, remember to leave iTrader for the Host (me) and Rep Points for the people you received cards from.
I will leave iTrader for each player as I receive their cards.

We love eye candy. So post photos of your cards to the thread for us all to admire.

Wow, Ann..... your mandalas are absolutely gorgeous. I am pretty sure I would not be able to do anything quite that beautiful, but I will lurk, and see what I can come up with.

Welcome Angeljoy. Hope you enjoy playing Suzi. You can start off simple and just keep adding patterns, a bit like zentangling.

I like this idea - something I could work on with our requiring that I be in the studio. I could even bring it to work Consider me lurking.
Success! . The 50 states ATC project is complete. I will be laying them out for a photo and will share that along with the names of everyone who participated. A BIG Thanks goes out to everyone. BTW - Ohhappyday and Barbsburnttree have jumped on the 50 states collection bandwagon, so if you enjoy making state cards, hit them up for a trade.

Welcome lurkers. That's right JenURebel. That's when I decided to give them a go, when my hubby was away I worked on the sofa. I knew if I went up to my studio the log burner would have to be relit every time I came back down

Well, I drew my first mandala, and my husband is in the process of cutting it for me, so I think that it is time for me to sign up.

Lovely Angeljoy. I wonder which piece will be your favourite once they are cut up? For me, the trick is getting them all to look different. My first one was smaller 5 x 7 and so it was chopped in the centre, the cards are OK but it's a bit boring when you look at all 4 because they all look the same.

Yay! lots of new players. Welcome Lara, Suzi and Luminous. Can't wait to start seeing some cards.
