How about some inspiration up in here?

Lots of great "tattoo" flower art around, like this piece from pepperink on Etsy:

Alright, for some reason I have had a really hard time with this swap. I kept coming up with ideas that just don't follow the rules. I started over a couple times and now have an excess of flowers. I think I figured it out but I'm worried I might have over decorated them?

The issue is that I'm not sure about is whether the flowers are too embellished with the embroidery/beading? Click on them to see them larger since I used tiny beads. I left a good bit of space on most of them so the recipients could add more embellishments if they desired. I have two more flowers I will post in a second.
I appreciate ALL kind comments even if I don't thank you personally!

Ok, here are my final flowers. I don't think they are over embellished, but do tell me if I am wrong?

These are also watercolor paper and gouache, but they have a couple brads in the center to allow the recipient to change the orientation of all of the petals as they want.

Wysteriavine, I'm using beads too. I think your flowers are wonderful and would be delighted to plant them in my home.

I too would like some help on what is preferred re embellishing. I have been restraining myself from turning them into chunky flowers because I was thinking we were talking basically paper with little doo-dads. Nanner?
No new nothing! Must de-stash bit by bit!

Bluesky, thank you! I couldn't help myself on the seed beads, once the embroidering got going the beads just flew in as if by magic!

Laffqueen, thanks! Everyone is doing such lovely work I think we will all have some incredible bouquets.
