Continuous Random Round Robins - 9
If you think 3 heads are better than one when it comes to making ATCs this is the place for you.
We are a fun group of ATC makers who like to spread the making of ATCs around to more than one person.
Here is how to get started……………..
First you sign up in the thread and tell us what themes you do not want so I can add your name to the list in the 1st post.
Next you PM your mailing address and any dislikes to me so I can add it to the address list. I will update this list as players come and go or change their status.
If you wish to take a break from playing at any time all you need to do is post in the thread if you want to let everyone one know and send me a pm so I can make it official by changing the list. I will move you to the HOMERS ONLY section of the address list until you ask me to change it. This way you will still get any you have started that have been completed by others but you should not get any new ones. If you do get new ones, please let me know in a pm.
To keep cards from being sent to inactive players I will move you to the HOMERS ONLY section of the address list if you have been inactive on the site for a month. Once you become active again you can pm me and ask to be placed back into active status.
And here is how a Round Robin works…………
Player 1 starts it off by starting 3 cards. These cards need to be more than a preprinted background. Please put something on them. On the back please put ATCS FOR ALL RANDOM ROUND ROBIN or AFA RANDOM RR at the top (so we know where it came from as there are 2 round robin groups) along with at least your user name. Mail all 3 cards to Player 2.
Player 2 will work on the cards. Add at least your user name to the back. Mail all 3 cards to Player 3.
Player 3 will finish the cards. Add at least your user name to the back. Keep 1 card and mail the other 2 back to Player 1.
Player 1 will keep 1 card and mail the other one to Player 2.
VERY IMPORTANT ~ Please remember to look at the most current list before sending cards to anyone to make sure they are still playing.
EQUALLY IMPORTANT ~ Please check what cards a player DOES NOT WANT. Do not send unwanted themes to anyone as they must pay to send them on to someone else .
If you get a set of cards and you have no idea what to do with them, just send them on to someone else.
Feel free to post eye candy whenever you want. Part of the fun of being in a Round Robin is seeing who is doing what. You can post them when you get them before you add anything, after you have added something or when you get a completed set. If you don't have a scanner or are not sure how to post them it is ok. Posting is not a requirement to join and have fun. There are no Round Robin Police sent to visit if you don't!
And you never have to say who you are sending to unless you want to.
And last but not least…………
iTraders: They are fun to give and fun to get so please remember them. Once you have a completed card you can give them to both the other players. When giving them you are the trade.

I've had my eye on that post count for a while, so I knew we'd be moving up soon - can't believe we're on 9 already. I didn't join until about 5 or 6, but even so...
-
I know.
I took over May 2012. I know some of you have been around longer than that!
Still enjoy it all and I am looking forward to when I can come back and play some more.
I really want to count how many round robin cards I have..............
How about the rest of you? Any body have a good guess as to how many cards they have?
-
I have well over 1000 trades of atcs around the world, but that includes a few other groups before atcs for all and individual trades before discovering rr's and of course in person trades at clubs, with family and friends and at conventions.
I'll teach anybody anything I know, I just don't want to work.

No idea how many cards I have - lots - but I had a look at my ring binder that has RR cards in it (see photo) and did some quick maths...
There are 23 full pages in this notebook (I didn't count the ones which were partially full). A full page has 9 pockets, but cards facing both ways, so 18 cards per page. 23x18 is 414. Plus some cards in pages which aren't full, some waiting to be put away, a few on display, a few next to my computer waiting for me to do iTrader - I have around 450 RR cards. I have several other ring binders full of other ATCs, of course, so no idea how many ATCs and APCs I have in total - well over 1000.

OK, you know what? I am old and am losing my memory, lol. Or else time is zipping past or something. Out of curiosity, I went back to look and see at what point I joined this round robin, and apparently, it was in the first thread (after MaryAnn took over) - right near the end before we moved to thread 2. That was January 2013... The rest, as they say, is history.
So there you go!

Wow! 5-6 years of RR for you Katelnorth and xstitcher?! Amazing!
-
Yes it is. Lots of fun times.
I don't think we are the only ones....................
Because I am curious now, when I have more time I will compare the 1st list to the current one and see how many are on both!! I think there are quite a few of us................

I was curious how katelnorth knew when she started doing crrr. So I did my own search. I joined AFA 7-14-2102. I signed up for jams now called crrr 7-21-2012. I have never gone on homers even once. I just keep plugging along. I have no idea how many I have but I have them sorted by finished themes. I say finished themes because they start out often a blank slate

Ooooopsie... I thought I came to the group much later, but apparently I've been part since thread #1! ^^°
I joined on 09-07-2012. Also did a quick calculation of the cards in my binder and it looks like I have exactly 197 cards.

I'm kinda sad, I know. I just looked for old CCRRR threads and then searched for posts under my own name - I kept going back until I found the joining one.
I also have never gone on homers, though once in a while I took longer than I'd like to turn stuff around.

I have several cards I need to do something with.
I mailed some homers and am in the process of giving iTraders. With the 2 hour rule it is going to take some time to get them all given.
And I have 2 sets I need to add something to and send on.
-
I too have a stack of cards which need attention. Some of them have been worked on and need to be sent along, either with other things or on their own. I have a few more waiting to be worked on as well - I have two weeks off and although I'm away to Lisbon for a few days, the rest of the time is my own, so I have high hopes for catching up. Woohoo!
