OOh, I like "use what I send" swaps. That will be fun!

I got an envelope from Kiracat. It has a bird coin set, which I will be the finisher

and a very cute starter set with one coffee mug on each card, but each mug is different. AND I guess they could be mugs with Tea, but well you never know. I will find a lover of either hot beverage to send on for the thirds. one Mug reads, FREE DOBBY, and has his image. I am more partial to the one that reads, a cup of courage.

There is a RAK thread, where one person gets blessed with Raks each month. Right now it is Bastcrystal. A time go, I submitted Loladog's name (when she first told me she was diagnosed. , and I do believe she will be November's but we could send early.

    BlueSkyHare – 2 homer sets
Carol – seconds, and starter coins
    Ferretgirl – two 3rds

    RoadBike831 – starters
    SeaScape131 - 3rds, starters
    Silky1150 – 3rds

    MRubyJean – 3rds
    Sweetgypsy – 3rds, starters

if i sent to the wrong person, send it back or forward it
if i messed up on itraders
    sorry
i am trying to devise a system to keep track of who got what
but for now, clumsy list on paper
this will get better with experience

i wasn't sure about how to mail, naked, in a penny sleeve or a 3 across
i have received some of each
so i sent them in the same way - it depended on the size of the envelope

I don't think it matters too much. Some people have a system, some just send stuff out and not worry about it.

Personally, I like to keep track of who I've sent things to, but that's more about me than anything else. I have a system involving small slips of paper and dates, but as I said, lots of people don't keep track at all. The downside to keeping track, is it makes me aware of the sheer number of cards I've started or worked on over the years which are still out there somewhere.

In terms of sending stuff on, it doesn't matter too much if you use individual sleeves or three across or whatever. The main thing, I think, is putting them in something to keep them safe in the post.

    you are right, as usual.
i made scrap papers with trader's names and laid them out on the table
i piled up who got what on the names
i have clipped together the ones i am sending this time and will target the others the next time i send
i have a little list of what the what was this time
i will probably keep it that way just in case i need to reference anything
i am kind of a control freak
so i need some kind of system

i wrote on my starters that i posted iTraders
at first i made notes to myself with postits
    but they fell off
then i was stuck with trying to figure out my next step all over again

Me too - that's why I said my system is more about me (the fact I'm a control freak) than anything else, lol.

I have a little tin box I keep cards which need itrader in. Once I've done the iTrader I file the cards away in my notebooks - I don't do iTrader until I can do both the other people onthe card - easier to keep track that way.

At the moment, I have about 6 cards waiting with BluSkyHare on them - that 2 hour rule is a real pain sometimes...

    my system.

If I have a homer to send, I try to send another set with the homer.
If the HOMER is exactly the same, I dont send both to Katelnorth if she is the starter, so she doesnt have to mail it back to the USA.

If the homers are different, I do make sure to send them both back to the starter so that person can pick a fav.

I right MINE on the back of the card I am keeping and a * on the player's name on the back, that I am mailing them to.

Still I have found when I am sorting that I have two of a card, and need to mail one back to someone. I do that sometimes.

I keep all of my CRRR in one plastic bin, and I try to mail once a week if I can. I go hang out with my crafty friend on Tuesdays, and I knock off the sets over at her house usually. Come home and address the envelopes. She has a stinky mail carrier, so I never mail from her house or her post office. Mine is better, (except one clerk is a PITA)

2 starters on the way. One is to Blueskyhare and I forgot the other. It will be a surprise! Mrubyjean, the star and moon card looks fabulous! Thanks for posting it on the thread.

Everyone's been so busy here! Me, too.
Mailing homers and starters (and some 3rds) today to sweetgypsy, roadbike, allegrae, cinlan, katelnorth and silky.
If anyone has starters they've worked on and need to send one to a 3rd, I'll take some.
I'm taking the day off from work today so I hope to make some starters for the other players who I don't have envelopes for yet.
mrubyjean--love the moon and stars card and the kwanzaa card too!
I recognize where that little fox comes from. I've been wanting to cut him out and use him too, but I keep forgetting.
