    Beautiful Birds

    Finished my cards. I will mail them on Monday. Bluebird, blackbird, dove and crow. Handpainted and hand drawn.

    Here are my birds in watercolor; they went in the mail today. Top left: Blue Bird of Paradise, Top right: King Bird of Paradise, Bottom left: Palila, Bottom right: Turquoise-Browned Motmot. (And apologies to whoever gets this card...I think I misspelled "turquoise" on the back.)

    Thank you both! I've been admiring the beautiful cards people have been posting, and it inspired me to pull out my watercolors.

    The bottom two cards are the first ones I did. I also think those two turned out the best. I'm happy with the top two, but I was struggling with trying to paint details. I don't know why I was having difficulties with the top two. :unsure:
