Maybe a CRRRC (Continuous Random Round Robing Circle) thread? 3 for 3?

Pouringdiva, your beautiful circles arrived on Saturday! Thank you for the hostie!

Wow, I missed a lot of talk here! ^^
Glad to know my circles arrived safely.

About the how-to-get-circles discussion - I used a circle? compass? This tool you need for constructing stuff in maths class, that pricks a hole in the middle of your circle. Anyways, I used one of those to make my template, and I hand cut my circles (like everything else from inchies to chunkies) with scissors - in this case with these slightly curved scissors that are actually supposed to be for cutting your finger nails. Worked just fine!

Also, I love the idea of a MMH or PIF thread with these, but I personally would only be able to play if it was one, max. 2 circles at a time, otherwise it's too big a commitment for me, you know? ^^
    Hugs, Sarah

No mail for a couple of days.
Sorry I haven't checked in, in a couple of day. Still so sick but have to go to work every day anyway with a hacking cough and LOW energy.
Is everybody working on their circles?

Sharon, so sorry to hear you are still sick - do be careful with your health. I had a cold from October until this month, coughed for a couple of months; finally diagnosed with pneumonia and still recovering...low energy was a big part of it, so I empathize with your situation. But do take care of yourself and please see a doctor if you aren't feeling better soon!

thanks nanvan, GALZART and mrubyjean! It's been almost 7 days, but left work early and slept for a few hours. My daughter's HS graduation is in 2 weeks and I CAN"T be hacking uncontrollably!

BUT---just received Lara's beautiful and sparkly poured circles! Thanks for the hostess card, Lara!

    that helped pick me up.

Get better soon! And to join the conversation, I'd join a PIF or MMH happy threat where you send one coin/circle. I would only do a 3:3 trade if it was a private swap because it takes me a LOOOONG time to do 3 or more cards. A one-off PIF/MMH is a lot less intimidating!

And on that note, here's my circles! I've loaded them to my gallery, too.

    Ooooh, those circles are gorgeous!

And I agree re: an ongoing circle trading thread - I prefer something like the house-shaped ATCs, where people post cards as they make them and others can offer to trade - you can trade 1:1, or more than 1 if so inclined, but not mandatory. That works for me.

Foxglove, those are awesome circles! thank you so much for sharing on the thread! Can't wait to see them in person.

nanvan, I do have to say that the "requested trading" style of thread makes me uncomfortable because maybe a "player" or two never have their offered cards requested....do you see that happening? That would make me sad.

I've only made 1 house card and everyone on the thread is super supportive. Everyone's style is different so there is something for everyone. The house thread has a lot of "regulars" and they trade back and forth all the time. There's lots of chatting and encouragement. Sometimes people will post their houses to the gallery if they aren't snapped right up on the thread. It's really like posting your work in the gallery - some people will like your style and maybe some won't.

I suspect a circle group would work similarly - that those who love circles would really get into making them and trading. And unclaimed circles could be posted in the gallery.

I totally missed that there was a NY circle. I was focusing on tree circles and the one with quote, life is hard your art shouldn't be.
