    Circles Swap-collage & mixed media~Due July 16th

    Swap Due Date – July 16, 2018
    Signup/withdraw date – Please communicate
    Number of Cards - 3 for 3
Number of participants – 30, as this is my third swap

ATCircles Swap --- collage & mixed media swap

    So What ARE ATCircles???
They are ATCs in the shape of a circle, disc or coin! I was introduced to them very recently and had so much fun making some, I thought I share the experience!
Here is a link to a video which was shared with a facebook group I'm in, showing just what these ATCs are. She calls them "coins" in her video.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mfps...kWoNlCW7Z8PLPH

Please watch this video and maybe you'll be inspired!

MIXED MEDIA & COLLAGE: Paper collage pieces, washi tape, ephemera, bling, lace, stencils and stamp work, postage stamps, brads, any sort of collage items. PLEASE DO NOT USE BULKY EMBELLISHMENTS--flatter ones only please.

HELPFUL HINTS: I found a 2.5 inch tag to use as a template, cut my circles from a cereal box, saved the cardboard "negatives" to use as stencils for cutting my choice of background papers. It's a good idea to trace the "negative" in pencil on your background paper then cut it a bit larger before gluing to the cardboard/stock circle base, then you can trim the background paper to size.
As shown in the video, you can use a geometric compass, a cup, or a punch to get your circles---BUT I HAVE TO INSIST THAT THEY BE 2.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER. I don't mind if they are not PERFECTLY circular, due to hand cutting (mine aren't), but please do your best!

<3 If you cannot find a 2.5 inch template, let me know and I will mail you one, if you promise to include an extra forever stamp in your submission to compensate the extra expense.

International Players: I will send the first 3 players returns without any added funds, but any more internationals I ask to include $2 US or request my PayPal info. Sorry!

    The Cards:
Must be 2.5 inches in diameter on sturdy cards (no 20lb or copy paper)---no more, no less than 2.5 inches, and have all items securely glued on
Must have your AFA name and the swap name, on the back
Must be sent in plastic sleeves
This is a 3 for 3 swap so send 3 cards (but if you'd like to include a hostess
    card I would cherish it!)
    The Mailing:
Mail your cards in a size 10 business size envelope (4” by 9.5”) with sufficient
    postage
Include the same amount of postage needed to mail your cards in your
envelope, as well as a "reimbursement" stamp if I send you a template (thank you!)
Include a mailing label of at least 0.5” by 1.5” with your address printed on it
I will supply the envelopes for returns
Please allow snail mail time and mail your cards so that I receive them by the
    due date
    The Returns:
I try to swap "like for like"---if you put a lot of time & effort into your cards I will try to swap with others' cards that were made with the same care
Once you receive your returns please let me know in the swap thread
Leave reps (You Rock!s) for players whose cards you’ve received and an
    iTrader for your hostess

If you have any questions or issues please communicate.
Please Personal Message me or post on the thread when you need my address.

If you have to drop out, or decide you'd rather not play, please let me know either by private message or on the swap thread, so I don't have to give you a neutral iTrader.

And lastly, have fun creating some ATCircles!

Some examples of ATCircles that I've made, below:

My first year of teaching, I pinched a nerve in my hand when I cut 20 ish 8 inch circles from chipboard. It wasn't fun being numb for a couple weeks. Last year, I ordered a circle cutter for my classroom. I'm hoping it will cut small circles for this
