My ATCoins are ready to be mailed. I don't have a working computer at this time so I can't upload any pics. Unless someone knows of a way I can do it using my phone's gallery.

Well, I've got almost half of the circles in my swap basket already! Kudos to players!
Only about 3 weeks left, keeping a week for mailing time.
    How's everyone doing?

one front 3/4 done, one front 1/2 done, third front restarted 3 times so far.
I have the backs punched whenever I can be satisfied with the fronts.
Also have some "middles" punched. If they feel too wimpy I will make a circle sandwich.

Well, no happy mail today. At all....just junk, and nothing worth bringing to my art table...

But, just to be chatty---I've been working on some hand shaped cards for a private mail art group. I've really found that shaped card very tricky. I used both sides to create on.
    Has anyone ever made one?

No, I haven't made hand shapes - sounds really difficult - are they the same size as regular ATCs (shaped like a hand of course, but you know what I mean)?

Not knowing specifically what BlueSkyHare is doing, generally hands are made by tracing your hand on some kind of cardboard. Then you decorate it either on one side or both sides. They are not atc size, they are the size of your hand - more or less. They are considered mail art.
I made this one a few years ago when I was obsessed with a German song I heard in a Sherlock Holmes movie. Kind of on the weird side, but one of my favorites. Not everyone gets my weird sense of humor. And I like to work in black and white.

Hand sized would be a lot easier than ATC sized, for sure, shirley. I really like your black and white fish hand (not a sentence I ever expected to say!). I still think it would be a challenge to decorate them, though.

they are just like doing any atc - house shape - or apc.
you get an idea, you select your pieces and you glue them to the hand - or paint and draw if you want. you more or less ignore the fingers unless they work with your design. (one year i made a wedding glove - much harder to make than than i thought it would be.)
it is kind of tricky to cut out the fingers on cardboard, but any position of the fingers is acceptable (within reason LOL).
i made hand templates and use the same ones whenever i get in a hand swap.

JavaZarf, I did mine by tracing my hand with fingers closed and that was difficult enough for me!
I "get" your sense of humor! I recognize all the words accept betrugst. Does it mean hunt, run or die (skulls)?
I'll share mine next week. I recently bought a gell plate, so I've been playing with it, and used gell plate pages as backgrounds.

the translation is roughly - the fish you cannot cheat
i wrote all the words on the back of the hand
i did three different hands with words to songs on the back
hair, king tutt, and the fish you cannot cheat
what can i say - i was going with the song theme

there was probably a hidden meaning
but the song was about the life of the fishermen and their enjoyment of fishing
and for all their preparations and nets, etc
the fish were smart too and eluded the fishermen
