Welcome back! I also love seeing the various cards that people make... Tealtornado, do you tend to follow the prompts? If I remember right, GALAZART and the other ladies from last year did their own thing, which was awesome. Sometimes I made something from the prompt, and sometimes I didn't it just depended on if the prompt triggered my imagination or not.

I enjoy the prompts, because I like the challenge and it gives me a starting point, so I usually try to follow them. But sooner or later I'll get stuck and if I fall too far behind I lose my momentum. So I think I'll do both ways this year.

Foxglove: You're correct...I did not follow prompts last year. I tend to do more if I just do a card based on something that pops into my mind. I probably will do the same this year. Thanks for remembering me.

The ICAD challenge starts tomorrow! Whut-whut! To prepare, I made a practice card (the NASA Jet, which is actually acrylic paper, not an index card), and the 2019 Title Card.

Hi Beverly! Absolutely - she posts the prompts for the week every Wednesday, but you don't have to do those prompts at all. Feel free do whatever sparks your muse! You can find her prompt page here.

    Thank you, Beverly!

Difficult as in finding the time, or tapping into your creativity? I find I am struggling a bit more this year, but I think its more self-induced. I film everything now, in case I turn it into a video, so i am a bit self-defeating in that I am trying to make things video-worthy. I need to stop doing that.
Dont have that pressure today though! We lost power, so no videos and almost no light to art by!

Okay. So I gave it the old college try today this is my first index card ever.
It's a 'pocket' card with a coin inside. It's one of my favourite poems by Robert Frost (that's me in the photo, aged 4).

I am doing my own version of ICAD. I did ICAD several years ago (before doing ATCs). This year, I am creating on index cards as the first step (mainly doodles or tangles). I then work in an improv way, coloring and cutting. The exercise is to work without a plan or objective and solve problems along the way. When all goes well, I have an ATC card or coin. If you want to see, my gallery links are below.

Thats awesome, Lorna! I love the idea of using doodles onto a card!

I've been so bad about not posting my ICADs. If i get a chance, I will log in and post them later tonight. I can't post pictures from my phone.

Here are two more cards for the Index card challenge. I am SO far behind! I love the bigger format (4x6), but it just takes me so long to figure out what I want to do and then do it!

Foxglove, I adore "Your crazy is showing" - so funny and so well done! I haven't had a chance to make a single card, but haven't given up on the idea...

Wonderful cards everyone! I love what everyone is posting. I haven't posted anything since the upgrade. Don't have a computer. Took some pictures on my phone, they're a bit fuzzy, but if I can figure it out I will post them.
