And one for the ATART. I used a postage stamp with a quote from Friedrich von Schiller. It says "Art is a daughter of Freedom".

I have a bit of a sick sense of humor. I hope nobody is offended by my digital print attempt. It's really a 2 part set.

Here are some that I got done yesterday and last night. I admit that a few of them had been begun months - even years! - ago, but I'd been stuck on what to do to finish them. Got 'em done!

Good Day.jpg - A Steampunk Day - texture paste mixed with pearl ex & used through a stencil, die cuts, fortune cookie fortune

I Wore.jpg - I Wore My Favorite Fan - vintage photo, stickles, doily, tiny red stickers, words in gold on clear tape - TRADED

it's possible.jpg - Believe It's Possible - layers of paper napkin attached with bees wax, die cuts, stickles, words from a large print book

Love endures.jpg - Love Endures - scrapbook paper, magazine cutout, pre-printed diecut

More to see.jpg - There's More to See - layers of paper napkin attached with bees wax on a reused greeting card (handwriting shows through), scrapbook paper word, words form magazine, stickles

I need to look at what everybody else is doing. I have been painting pictures of animals in the Galapagos. I am going there later this year, and I pulled out my guidebook for inspiration.

    ATART 7 Blue Footed Booby
    ATART 8 Young Flamingo
    ATART 9 Galapagos Tortoise #1 (looking face-on)
ATART 10 Galapagos Tortoise #2 (with leaf)

I'm working my way backwards up the thread from the latest entries ... Ancient Planter love all your (old) new cards, especially the one with the butterfly cutout - beautiful!

I made an atc! First one in a year. Mostly I've been making paper beads and before that I was doing sketchbook tip-ins, so I'm like an Olympic figure skater who's been off the ice for ten years. I wobble on the easy moves. But I'm very impressed with myself. I will scan and post it after I rest a minute.
