I will be counting the days - thanks for the invite.
I have a new address from the end of June - ROBINA.
Currently down in Melbourne looking after my daughter and new granddaughter (delivered by emergency caesarean on Aug 1) - won't be able to acknowledge letters till the beg of October. Sorry for the delay.
    Now hosting:

Did you see all the backs, I gave away in my boomerang swap? The link is in my signature, but you can see photos of all the dang backgrounds I had started. So I gave them away to the players. If you get time check out some of the transformations. But if you see my initial photos, you can see why I have backgrounds ready for Art athons most of the time.

I have one shoebox size container of cut backgrounds. It got so full I had to pull out my playing cards I have for apcs. Most I made but some or just still unaltered cardstock/notecard/papers. Then I have a couple big ziploc bags full of uncut papers/pookpages/papertowels that have colorwash sprays and some done with a stencil and such on them.

But the thing I am really crazy about collecting is images and quotes. I really need to stop collecting things. LOL

Hmmm maybe you should host a background boomerang swap next,

I TOO NEED TO STOP COLLECTING
    AND BUYING THINGS.

I am pretty sure these things are collecting me. I dont hear voices in my head, but the items speak to me, "save me for an art project"

I've been collecting stuff for projects since I was a teenager. I've probably still got some things from my 20's. LOL!

I have never had too many craft items. Also my (ex)husband wondered how on earth I do have so little of them when he saw pictures from craft rooms I had visited. I've never had much room for supplies but I think I have enough.

I think we all collect interesting items for cards/crafting. I have hubby trained to run it by me before recycling any paper. Needless to say, I have lots of colored bits of paper. I don't buy much at the store. In general, I believe we collect according to our available space. I've long outgrown my area in a sense. I work in the breakfast room because it has a solarium window. But in exchange, my work table is round, about 30 inches diameter. I make it work by moving items around a lot.

I have almost ready list of tasks for this a-thon. My "task bank" is quite empty now. If you have any ideas we haven't had yet, you can send me a PM. I'm so happy to see other people's ideas and use them in Challenge Hunts. Tasks can be very easy or very detailed and require special tools. I've always tried to create the list of tasks so that most of us could complete about 80% of points and the rest 20% require a lot more effort. I also counted that I have listed far over 300 different tasks during the years.
