Here’s the first Dotee doll I’ve ever made. She’s probably staying with me as my “sample.” I have started on my dolls for the swap. I like to work on them in the morning when my eyes are fresh & the house is quiet.

So cute, looks like you’ve got this down. I’ve started mine which happen to all have some form of pink because I have tons of pink stuff. Hope they don’t turn out over the top sweet. Well, fairies are sweet, right?

Absolutely, Smidgen! And pink is my favorite color....

Great looking little doll, Bunnymther - I would probably keep it too. Plus it's a good idea to have a prototype to go by.

What does everyone use for stuffing? I used to have a bag of polyester fiberfill and used it a lot. I no longer make the wax artist dolls with stuffed muslin bodies and kinda hate to buy that big bag again for these little dolls. I'm wondering how it would be to use torn apart cotton balls. That should work, right?

Thank-you both! I have some ideas and am excited to get started. I gathered fabrics, hanger ribbon, wing ideas, embroidery floss for hair, beads, etc., each color coordinated with each other, and put them in 4 separate baggies so I am all ready to start when I finish some previous commitments.

Well, I happen to admire that approach! Sometimes my need to "plan out" everything hampers me a bit in the actual doing. But it's just how I've always handled all my creating and designing.
