I am probably going to sound clueless. But I tried to look for this in the gallery, and I am having trouble searching. I am curious, is this a specific size of round paper? A real coin? Hope I do not sound dumb

It's just like a round ATC (2.5" circle). Some people have gotten 2.5" punches, but you can also cut your own.

SunTrade, for most of the swaps here, the coins are 2.5 inches round. Outside of AFA, you will see a variety of sizes from 1-inch to 2.5 inches.

A lady make a video a few months back and called them "artist trading coins", and they kind of took off in popularity. I have seen older videos too, but the one I saw was a "challenge coin"...you make art on those little wooden circles with a challenge on the back, a personal goal, a word of encouragement, etc.

SunTrade, I have made mine from 140# watercolor paper that I cut with a Fiskars Circle Cutter. I glued 2 pieces together to make them sturdy. Very easy & inexpensive. I am giving the backs a watercolor wash to coordinate with the art on the front then I will put my info on the back. Treat these coins just like you would an ATC...same thing only round
