Nanvan, some of my favorite cards that I've made were the ones that started out the most dull and uninspiring... I lower my expectations, pull out gesso or a dark color paint and sit it next to me so that I can pour it upside down on the card when it ends up a boring trainwreck, and aim for the pinnacle of mediocrity. Then- usually after many nights of sleep- it clicks together, I don't end up needing the contingencies, and I go through a creative frenzy that leaves me zapped of all creative spirit for the next week.... maybe you are in the post-zapped phase from one of your recent amazing creations?

    Wow, so many coins, Suzi!!
nanvan, just cut out the circles and let them steep. You have plenty of time for your muse to whisper in your ear!
I'm having a bit of a block, too. I've got ONE finished. The rest are on my table where I can look at them while they wait.
And CQ, I agree, nanvan always makes awesome art!

Received my cards a while ago, just getting around to posting them. (Been busy making the move from NY to AL permanently. LOTS of work to moving!) Here they are:

Thanks, BluSkyHare - like you, I've finished 1 coin. Now I'm stuck again...like your advice about letting them steep for awhile! As for time, I just learned there may be a mail strike/lockout in Canada at the end of the month. Only heard it from one source, so will have to do some investigating. I sure hope not, because I wouldn't be able to join any swaps until after it's over.

Here are the cards I received. There was a plain yellow card as well but I couldn't fit it on the scanner with the rest.

Dithespy, they are all so wonderful! So equally great! And Nanvan, I love yours too. Both that were made from the flower card, and the one from the Christmas card is beautiful! No one would know it came from that very Christmasy scene!

Wow! There is some fantastic art on these little coins! I got a 2 1/2 inch punch but haven't started my coins yet. Quick question - where does everybody get all the people/face images?

Mosat of the faces this time came from a magazine but I get them from the internet, purchased collage sheets, old books - anywhere really!

Iíve finished 2 coins. The first is the Christmas card. I decided to keep the Christmas theme. The second was the patterned card.
