Awesome Donnacr and make sure you send my the best current address, I have messed it up before.

Donnacr, I also have 2 posts left in the PAT in the challenging APC group. You seem brave enough.

I understand this is a no-withdrawal swap and want to play. Can I declare 3 or 6 after I get my envelope? If I have to declare up front, then I'll just say 3:3.

Since I emailed you my address this morning for the Buddy swap, will that suffice?

    Thanks!

No one needs to declare the number. It will depend on how creative you feel with your random cards. And yes, I have your address.

    Yay!
Confession time - I really don't like coins.
    Yet!
They are a challenge - that part I like.
    This will be a two-fer.

JavaZarf, we love you anyway. Yes, I find the smaller and round space to be challenging and limiting.

I just signed up for this swap. Now that I've done that, can anyone tell me who sells pre-cut 2.5 inch bases for the coins? I have several punches but not a 2.5 and haven't found one on line that sounds like it's worth the price (based on reviews). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

Mollie, I bought a 2 1/2 punch at Michaels (I think)... it was not expensive, and I have punched many many coins with it. I think that they are available at most of the craft stores.

This is what I bought when I was in the US - it was at Michael's. The brand name seems to be something like Recollections. I think it was about $15 or so, but I used a big coupon for it, so I paid a lot less. It seems to work just fine.

I decided to actually buy a punch rather than just buy blanks so that I could punch any background I wanted to. I also thought that even in making regular sized ATCs, there might be times when I wanted a nice circle as part of the background, so I could see myself using it for that as well as actual coins...

(not sure why this posted twice instead of just editing the original - sorry!)

because of the cost of purchasing pre-cut circles, if you get a few dozen circles from your punch you have gotten the value.
also - there's nothing wrong with making a circle with a pencil and cutting with scissors.

Wow This sounds like a wonderful challenge and I understand that there is no withdrawal from this swap, and would be delighted to join!
Just for clarification you said we can draw, but not paint? If I used a bit of watercolor paper would that be okay?
Please add me, thanks so much

Glad to have you, You can try some painting or what have you on the items given but since I know what I am sending I am not too sure you can paint over anything but the solid colored card that I am sending. You must use the cards for your backgrounds, and you cant cover them with gesso, or other paint. WHen I said paint, in the past we have painted over some things and that worked well. But that just gives you a clean slate to begin working. SO that isnt allowed this time, Players have to make something from the cards given. Part of the challenge. As creative as some of you are, you may be able to zentangle or draw or paint an image.
