Today I received Laffqueen's dazzling butterflies! They are even more amazing in person! Where oh where did you get those fine figment leaves?? Is that what you would call them? Such gorgeous embossing and layers.

OHD, not sure if there is a space left - looks like there might be? If so, do you think I could have it? I know I'm international, but if I make cards this weekend, I can get them in the post on Monday, which still leaves a couple of weeks for mailing.
I really must remember to look in the Open Mail Art Swaps section of the forum - I keep forgetting coin swaps won't show up in the Open ATC Swaps section...

ohhappyday - I've been posting comments since the thread began, and just realized I never signed up. Now katelnorth has requested the last spot on the swap...like Kate, I was thinking I could get my coins mailed by this weekend and still make the deadline. I don't suppose there is room for 1 more (that would make 25)? If not, that's okay. Just hope no one minds that I put my oar in with comments throughout the swap. LOL!

If there's only space for one, Nanvan, you can have it - I'd hate to deprive you if you've been along for the whole ride. I was going to say, you'd be more likely to have cards guaranteed to arrive in time, but then again, with Canadian post being what it is, perhaps not!

Thanks, Kate, but I will be scrambling to get my cards done and mailed this weekend and Canada Post can be sketchy, although they're still delivering the mail and lately my cards/coins have been getting to their destinations in a relatively reasonable amount of time. I think you should have the spot - you signed up first! Seriously - you'll get your cards done and I am not even sure I can get mine done in time.

OK, if you insist.
If you want to private swap a butterfly circle, let me know, I'll make you an extra!
(And now the pressure's really on to get cards made and make sure they are worth it, lol).

She asked if I would take a photo for her when they arrived. . . thought you would all enjoy seeing these beauties!
The scan does not show the BLING like it should... very pretty!

So, I actually had time and energy to make some art on a weeknight (sort of - Friday is kind of a weekend, of course) - amazing! Here are my autumn butterflies - they'll be flying off to you either tomorrow or Monday, depending on how organised I am tomorrow morning...

Thanks OHD - I'll get them in the post today, though they may not go anywhere until Monday, lol. I have your address from sending you a PIF coin recently.

Unusual Mail Day! :)
The mail carrier was ringing the door bell a few minutes ago with more HAPPY MAIL! But, he was not going to leave LindyLu's gorgeous butterflies unless I paid $2.50 postage due. Lindy, isn't this crazy, as I know you had already gotten these back once! I'm just thankful they made it safely as they are stunning! Would you believe two of them slipped out of the side seam of your clear protectors and shifted all to one side, making the envelope too fat for 1.00 postage you had on it. No worries sweetie, just letting everyone know this as a reminder to tape your atc's down to a piece of cardstock so they stay flat in the envelope. It protects these precious works of ART.
Also, I received a second set from Carol and they are just as beautiful as the first set! I hope you intended to do this Carol and I'll swap you 6:6, ok?
Busy day for me... spent the morning at a neighbor's antique auction and going to a wedding this afternoon. I hadn't been to an auction for several years... the beautiful glassware doesn't sell for much, but the old rustic stuff is "hot". I got a lovely Fenton glass burmese vase that matches a lamp I have. I also got a couple boxes of crystal and set of dishes, box of old greeting cards and stationary, etc and paid $5.28 for all of it. Crazy cheap!
Ok, better run.... hoping to spend the day tomorrow creating something! Autumn JOY to you all!
