    I saw the most amazing sight just now! As I was driving home along a quiet country road, I came across a snowy owl perched on the railing on the side of the road. I got literally 2 feet from it when it decided to fly away! The owl was HUGE and its wingspan was so impressive! I never thought I'd ever see one in real life!

    When mcgillisj told us about seeing a snowy owl, I thought “ oh what a wonderful experience”.
    Well ... I just had a magical owl experience too and want to share it with Owl Swap folks.
    For over 30 minutes I have been standing on my porch in the moonlight listening to two owls “talking” to each other. One hoots and then about 20 to 30 seconds later the other owl hoots back. Beautiful.

    I can’t see them but I can hear them very clearly. I haven’t heard them around for a long time so it is special that they are visiting my woods.
