I think you could add just about any human or animal and use oxymorons: pretty ugly, clearly confused, open secret, original copy, larger half, alone together.

Vegan4animals did you get out your label maker for the words? I have one of those gathering dust. I should pull it out and see if it still works.

Yes it's an old label maker I got at a yard sale! I love using it because it has a look of nostalgia to it that you can't replicate with more modern equipment. And they still have refills available!

I was always pretty frustrated with my label makers. I did have 2 and one took a lot of batteries. I never did go pull it out off the tool area of my craft shelf.

I love my label maker, but I am selective about using it because the M-tape runs out so fast. My batteries do pretty good, but I remove them everytime I'm done. I never know how long it will sit until I use it again.I keep the batteries in the box with the device and extra tape, so it's not a problem to pop it in again.

That is a super idea. I am going to steal that.

When you were talking about label makers, all I could picture was the one my dad had. it was like a gun with a trigger and a disc at the top. you would turn the disc to the letter you wanted and squeeze the trigger to press the letter in the plastic tape. No batteries needed!

BlueSky, that's the same kind I use! It's very simple, made of plastic, easy to load. The brand is Dymo and I believe refill tape rolls are 3D. I didn't even know there was a battery operated one!

I was looking for some wicked good oxymorons for Thanksgiving I didn't find much.

    I did find
Did you know? Potatoes were not part of the first Thanksgiving. Irish immigrants had not yet brought them to North America.

    and a slightly inappropriate joke.

There probably wasn't any green beans with crispy onions ring bits on them either! My cards are done except the text. One will be "wicked good" as wicked was the most popular slang when I was a teen. It has a special place in my heart.

GASP, NO green bean casserole at the first Thanksgiving, oh the horror. I love that stuff.

BTW, that the food bank Saturday we got 100 or more cans of crispy onions. We couldn't give them all away. Many of the food recipients are not from the USA, so some of our foods don't make sense to them. We have a huge Romainian population, and some from Congo, South Africa, some from Mexico. Then we have little old ladies living in mobile home communities, so they knew what to do with them.

Can I re-emphasize that your cards need
a word or words that is/are an OXYMORON

and you need an image, of which I was calling a moron, but I just don't want an abstract with words, so I added the moron part.

But the words do need to be on the front with an image.

Human or animal work. In fact if you were doing JUMBO SHRIMP that is also an animal. Now I am hungry for a shrimp cocktail.
