I'm going to try to finish up the two I've started, this weekend. I have added the watercolor and need to add the pen. Just so busy with holiday preparations right now!
No worries, BluSkyHare! Mine won't be that beautifully complex, either, but they are gorgeous to look at!

I've finally had a chance to upload pics. Two are from green tea pillow bags, and two from Earl Grey bags.

I bought tea filters that are empty and can be filled with loose tea a few years ago. The company is German and they are called t-sac. There are 100 in a box and they measure 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches. The color of the bags are a natural color but they do not have strings with tags on them. I will lurk and see what I can come up with using them and possibly join in. I can't wait to try some different art supplies on them.

Those are so spectacular, BluSkyHare! The one reminds me of the morels that my cousins used to hunt back in Iowa!

    Thanks for the praise!
Mushu, those bags sound perfect--and just the right size!
Yes, one is a morel. I added the names, but I guess I didn't hit save. I'll do it again. Annoying.
I've been on a little bit of a mushroom kick ever since I saw a great video on how to paint mushrooms with watercolor.

I forgot to add that the box of empty tea filers I bought were "size #1". The company has quite a few different sizes.

Here are my teabags. The round bags were easier to work on. The regular bags got wrinkly.

Great birds, CherylS! I like the chickadee and the woodpecker, especially.

Oh my, CherylS! Those are absolutely gorgeous! I was thinking about trying a bird for one of my own for this swap, but I haven't given it a go yet. If I do, they won't be anywhere near as good as yours!

Found my teabags and placed on my desk for after Christmas.... gas leak discovered on 27th Dec so house has to have new pipework etc. Craftroom is unuseable as the boiler is in this room ..... hopefully the Gas Engineer will come tomorrow and start fixing so as I am able to get to my desk - under here somewhere - I will make a start and then sign up.

Oh my! I'm so sorry to hear this! I absolutely love my gas stove and would never trade it for electric, but gas leaks are indeed scary! Best wishes for a speedy fix!

I am going to pass on this one. Thanks for letting me lurk. I will check back. So bummed because this is the first swap that my sister (ATempleman) and I have both checked out.
