I don’t think we have. I’d love to do ‘geocaching’ if I get home to my supplies in time.

I love that idea. Bike riding is frugal as long as you already own a bike.

Just stopping by to say hello. Pondering putting a $1 in those massage chairs at the mall. I used to set my grandson on my lap... back when he fit... put in a dollar, and we’d ‘ride’. He’d laugh like crazy when the rapid ‘chop chop chop ‘ part would start, and always looked a bit concerned as the rollers went up and down. That was a lot of fun for one dollar. :oD
    *good memories*
Can you tell I’m getting homesick?!?!

I went thrift store hopping with some friends Friday and it was so fun. I got a lot of stuff I really didnt need, but it was worth it.

    Oh woo woo woo!!
I like those chairs too. It has been a challenge for me to find a good massage therapist for myself with all the travel. But, I will do the chair or sometimes they have actual people in the mall that do chair massage.

Now that sounds like fun. I might have to do that.
I always find good old books for my altered book journals at the thrift store about 15mins from my house.

Great! I’ll have hubby watch for them. I did find the chair today and put $2 in it. I feel a card coming on!

I went to bed last night worried, that this was due March 6th. But I was in bed, and said, oh well if it is, I am screwed, and I hate to withdraw.
    But I have time.
I do need to work on 3 more cards. I have one done.

Oh yes, you’ve got scads of time. I don’t even have mine finished. I have ZERO art supplies here. Buuuuut, that means I’m having more time to work on a cross-stitch baby blanket so it’s all working out. HOPING to head toward home Monday or Tuesday. It’s a 12 hour drive and I’m traveling alone so I want to pick a day without snow. Moms not comfortable with me leaving yet... but I’ve been here over two weeks and she’s improved a lot. So happy about that.

I was drinking tea yesterday. Good earth, sweet and spicy and got this tea tag. It was just what I needed to finish this card. I had the postage stamp with the dancer and was stuck.

I cut the tag off, before I even finished the tea, and got to work. I hope you like the sway of the gems, I felt they were moving or dancing.
The tag quote is by a dancer if you didnt know that person. Very famous, but well we have never met, (I think she must be dead because the USA does have stamps with her on it; only dead people are allowed on postage stamps in the USA)

Title just dance. You can dance for free in your own home, Just turn up the radio and dance. ( I realize Ballet will cost you mucho, years, and money)

My first card was about letter writing, for 55 cents you can write a letter in the USA, a postcard is 35 cents. Not a bad return on your investment. If you want a pen pal outside the USA for a mere $1.15 you can write to another country and broaden your horizons.
I had pen pals when I was a child. I can't even remember the cost back then.

I love the ride in the country card! And it’s a great idea! When my kids were small I kept a box with paper plates, napkins, plasticware, wet wipes and cups in the car at all times so we were always ready to head off for an adventure. We’d run into any grocery store we passed on the way and grab sandwich fixins and a bag of apples or grapes and BOOM we’d head into the country to play and explore. (I also kept a change of clothes for each child under the seats) Good times!!!
Geneology is a great idea too. Family interviews and such? We did a few gravestone picnics with great grandmas and the like. Many had blackberry bushes nearby. Well the ideas are flowing now!!! Thank you for activating my muse!!!
