you know I googled Forbidden Red, and it was hard to find something about that word or idea. I did thought basically Red was forbidden to be worn in some cultures. Japan was the only one listed.

I also learned red was hard to make. That they were using bugs from the New world. and the importers were not giving away the source, meaning they were not revealing if the item used for the dye was bug, a flower or a berry, since they were very dried up once they arrived back to Spain? was it Spain. Then the world moved to industrial dyes, and anyone could wear red, as it was not real expensive anymore.

So the coin, with the title forbidden Red is most likely going to be the Japanese kid stamp I used in the foreign swap. Photos later.

I found a bunch of fun paint chips and I accidentally ruined the one named "habanero"! I was so excited about that one, too! I have been using my besties Cricut cartridges (I only have three fairly boring cartridges) to make a bunch of on-hand shapes I didn't have, so I couldn't help but cross the two items in my mind. I have come up with two cards already:

Dang I cant get the picture big enough to see what the colors are called. But I have to ask, you look like you ran the coffee one through the embossing folder, so I gather that works well.

What is the silver or grey color? I was really curious about that one?

Welcome theweavershand! Adding you to the list!

CQ, It is not a paintchip that I ran through with embossing folder, haven't tried that...The gray one is 'High Speed Steel'. The first is 'Cabernet' then, 'Statue of Liberty', 'Faded Jeans', 'Peacock Plume', the steel one and 'Macchiato' with 'Fresh Brew' (2 in one)!

I cant believe there is a color called Statue of liberty, how fun. I could tell that one was faded jeans, cause I was in the gifted class as a child. The rest were beyond me, although I did suspect the peacock in the title with the card with a peacock.

I have a few cards with the Name Heather. Morning Heather, Heather Pink. Not sure if I will do anything with them. BTW, in case you dont know that is my first name. Heather. not morning nor pink.
