I might stick with paper like I did last time, but a sewn one of fabric is tempting. It would definitely be a single block and not a whole quilt!

I did three seem ones last year when I was practicing but only one of them actually fit in a sleeve. Let me see if I can take a picture...

Well, I know I could do a 4-patch! That’s the easiest one I can think of - right now. The 9-patch squares would be way too tiny for me! Would love to see your sewn block pic, Marie.

This is the one that actually fit in the sleeve.

A Dresden Plate would be pretty too. I would no doubt hand-stitch them. I think working in that size under the machine presser foot would be frustrating. Maybe some appliqué blocks as well...

I don’t know the “under my umbrella” pattern. It might have another name, many do. That 4-patch you did with top and bottom borders was just what I had in mind!

I found my pattern, picked out some parts to put together and have started stitching.

I am using the same one as in the example but different parts so I hope whoever gets them like them.

Speaking of tiny fabric quilts… I had to show this one I got from Tasha from Trash to Treasure 8. This is a pieced quilt that is literally 2 1/2 x 2 1/2“. Can you imagine?… Isn’t it lovely?

It’s probably my rendition. I tend to get excited and start variations.

It looked like this in the book:
