I asked from my collegue who is native English speaker and he said it's a plaster. I googled it too and it was a plaster on two pages (pharmacies). Now I checked my plaster box, made in UK, and it says plasters...

lol! I never heard them called that, always "band-aids" or "adhesive strips" or "adhesive bandages". You learn something new every day. PS. I was laughing because I spent time this morning googling how to make home made plaster for art. (flour + water + salt) I was way off!

At least you gave an idea for a new task when we are having our next challenge hunt . And I love to learn new words/meanings. I find it quite hard to separate British and American English and I mix my vocabulary very well. Usually people can understand.

I was invited (by jo.on.the.go) and have never done an ATART before.

Just to clarify, the goal is to do as many of the tasks as possible (as listed on post #2) between now and when it's over. I can combine tasks into one piece of work and then identify what all my tasks were when I post a picture. Then what do I do with my work?

What is the Challenge Hunt part mean?

How active are people on these? I work but this sounds fun... should I wait for one that's when I'm not busy or just go for it?

Welcome . You have basically five days and not many of us can complete all the tasks in that time. I work, too, and make just few cards.

You can add max three tasks per cards/other object. People make mostlt ATCs and related cards and trade them normally.

Challenge Hunt means that you may need to challenge yourself and come out of your normal art area when you "hunt" points.

I'll join. I need to be challenged to get out of my comfort zone.

Can I use cards that I make during these 5 days (that meet these tasks) and use them for other swaps that I'm in? Or does everything need to be available for trade?

You decide where and how you use your cards. They can be available, for swaps or just for you. And people make other cards too. They don't all meet any task.

The point is to have some nice conversations, try new things and learn something new, trade and admire beautiful art.

I need to be working at 6:30 am. That means I need to get some rest soon. I'll read my messages and go through all the beautiful art posted in the morning.

    Have fun!

Wow! Lots of beautiful things being posted here. Loved reading the task list... clever! And the BandAid mix-up was too funny! (Plasters are a new word for me too! I was sure you meant texture paste! Haha) No cards from me until the weekend. You gals rock those art supplies!
