this sounds fun, but I am lurking for now.

Question: is doing the technique the actual finished ATC, or is it intended to be a background with something else done to the card?

ksj1717, did you get to have your nieces play around with the shaving cream?

AngelJoy, Good question!! You'll actually be using it as a background with other things added on to it...

I showed the technique to my sisters and the girl's mamaw is going to do it with them (she has this most weekends anyway).

So, FG, this is just the end result of using the shaving cream&paint/ink/food dye/ect, with No theme or added stuff[ie:text or pix]? I see embellishments are allowed.
But mainly its the end result?
    Wanted to double check that.

catladybj, Once you make the shaving cream background it needs to be decorated afterwards. Just like a regular ATC that has a special background.

I LOVE doing shaving cream marbling!! I normally use food dye for the colours but I now have a good supply of alcohol inks so will see if this gives a more vibrant result.

I got motivated today. I'll be mailing my cards over the next few days.

I can't seem to post my pictures anymore. The system says they're all too big.

Went to the dollar store and got shaving cream and an aluminum cookie sheet, so I’m all set to get the alcohol inks out.

I just made my four backgrounds. What fun! Now I just have to figure out what to put on them.

A little shaving cream sure goes a long way! I didn't have any inks, so I used acrylic paint, and that worked out well. Once I finish them, I will post pictures.
