How is everyone else doing with their swap? I am trying to think of what technique swap I'd like to do next. Any suggestions?

ferretgirl, I have made a list of about sixty themes I’d like to have swaps in, but I haven’t thought of techniques until just now...with your question.

Here are a few ideas I think might be fun: Layering, mosaic, pointillism, scratchboard, thread art, ink blot design, pressed clay, coffee/tea-dyed paper, photography, shaker cards, stained glass (vellum or acrylic), painted hot glue, stenciling, melted crayon, sand art, flocking, or napkin transfers.

    What do you think?

This was so much fun!! My first card is fairly plain as I saw the picture in the marbling and, I hope, manged to bring it out for everyone else, my last card is paper pieced (it was a challenge to find parts of the patterns that fitted the colours that I wanted to use). They are on their way today.

Donnacr, what a great way of creating your cards. Most of the ones I've seen use the shaving cream paper as background, not picture! Very, very cool! I love the girl in the chair and the giraffes the most.

I did two sessions this weekend, one with alcohol inks and one with spray inks. I’m going to try craft paints and see what happens. This is a lot of fun, and cleans up easily, which I cant say about all my projects with inks or paints. I’m going to have to sit with my stash of papers and see what comes to me. Donnacr’s chair is an inspiration!
Must be Gelli 'cause jam don't shake like that!

Nice job, ladies. Way to think outside of the box, Donna. The pink & white one almost looks like en caustic art work....

I am really game for any of the techniques art work tries. Some are going to be a lot easier than others, of course.

AngelJoy, Have you not done embossing powders before or are you talking about doing different techniques with them?

Great cards donnacr. What a creative and beautiful way to use the technique. I especially love the relaz card with the big comfy chair.
