Those are beautiful, Eddy!
Questions: Is this the first time this swap has been done? What does everyone do (or plan to do) with their hearts?

There have been other fabric heart swaps. This is my first time hosting one. I'm thinking of putting the hearts together in a shadow box. Any other ideas out there?
-
I missed out on some other fabric heart swaps. I have a big glass apothecary jar I'd like to fill with them. Hope there are more swaps I can get in on.

That's a great idea! Might take a while to fill it up! I would love to do more swaps like this. Maybe we could do a theme like steampunk hearts! I definitely have some embellishments that are too chunky for card swaps that would be awesome for a heart swap!

Essy, your hearts are so detailed & fun to look at.
I can't wait until my fabric/embellishment pkg. arrives. I can feel my muse coming back to life.

First of all, yes...I do have a life, but...since I work from home and I spent the day waiting at my computer for my grumpy coworker to send me more goofy emails, I sat down at the table and started going through my stash:

It was such a lovely assortment! I decided to separate the pieces into piles that I thought went well together:

And also these:

Then, all of a sudden...

For the record, I did get laundry and dishes done during the process, but not much else! I did need this time-soother on this Friday night of a three-day-weekend! I will work in the garden tomorrow!...and make a trip to the post office!

Good for you!! I was going to say that I am in the same stage as you, sorting things into separate baggies, and then I saw your last picture - wow! Way ahead of me! Great hearts.

Thanks, CiCiCreates. I was not having a good day and the heart package came in the nick of time. Sometimes creative work is a great stress reliever! Be sure to post yours when finished as well.

Vegan4animals, How do we package/label each individual heart so that other players know who to give rep points to?
-
Well...I went to the post office so I just packaged the hearts like this:

I hope that's okay.

Ksj1717, wow they are so awesome! I'm glad it was a stress buster for you! They are packaged perfectly. I think a slip of paper with your info in individual plastic bags is fine. That's what you did, right?
-
It’s a label, but same difference.

My packet of goodies has arrived & I'm ready to take on the challenge. I, too, will be grouping items that work well together. I'll take some pics & post them soon

NIK, I received your lovely hearts! Wow! Great use of embellishments! Each one is so unique and I keep noticing more detail on them. Thanks for the hostie which I will treasure. Haven't decided on a favorite since they are all perfection!
