We've had a very cold, very late, Spring, so I think that is why the Monarchs are late getting here.
Perhaps you've had cooler weather, also.
The folks who did the Monarch count in Mexico say there was a larger number of over-wintering Monarchs this year. a good sign of a growing population.

Well at least that's good news. It's not very hot in general yet, even though we've had some hot days. And, it's been raining a whole lot in the last few weeks (not sure if that's relevant or not).

Thanks Vicki for all this great information on Monarchs and milkweed. I am going to see if I can plant some in my neck of the woods. Wonder if it will grow in Rainey Seattle?

There is a narrowleaf milkweed (Asclepias fascicularis) that is native to Washington that you should have good luck growing, but it depends on the ecoregion in your particular neck of the woods.

It IS still possible to join this swap.
Cards are due IN MY HANDS by July 5th, so you need to get your cards created, and mailed.
Normally domestic mail takes 4-5 days to reach me, (if you are in Sonoma County, California) but with the 4th of July NATIONAL holiday, there is no mail delivery July 4th, plus mail in general slows down due to the mail back-log, so I recommend you mail no later than the last week in June (no later than June 27th). That still gives you a couple of weeks to create and mail.

I just sent you my address via PM.
This is where you need to mail your ATCs

Butterflies were done in orange, yellow, and black tissue paper. Flowers and other details were painted with acrylics.

    Your cards are spectacular.
LOVE the texture the tissue paper creates.
And, the flowers painted with acrylics have such depth to them.

    I adore your cards
I cannot wait to see them in real life.

Even with the 4th of July holiday, I am sure they will arrive in plenty of time.
    Thanks for letting me know.

FAB cards received from 3moffday2, CiCiCreates, and Boots.
This means everyone who has signed up has sent in their ATCs, so perhaps I will be able to swap out early.
    AWESOME!!!!!

    Welcome Deb2015.
Please note that cards have to be IN MY HANDS by July 5th, so you do not have much time to create and mail.
Also please be aware that the 4th of July National holiday (NO MAIL TRANSIT NOR DELIVERY ON THURSDAY, JULY 4TH) will additionally slow down mail delivery.

****Due to Deb joining this Swap, and her intention to have her cards in no later than due date, I will not be mailing cards out early.
