    • Abstract Swap, handrawn/-painted, due September 20, 2019

    I should have asked if these would qualify for the swap before I signed up! Maybe they are Partial Abstract? Semi-Abstract? These are "Fish" and "Iris"
     
    Great cards, CiCi! I´d consider them abstract :) Just like lots of Picassos work - you can see what it´s meant to be without being them realistic.
     
    I’m so relieved and glad you like them. I really enjoyed painting them!
     
    In my post #23 I mentioned Bob Burridge and his color wheel. His weekly “Bob Blast” for this week is a nice summary about using color. If you are hesitant to jump into abstract painting, I suggest watching this week’s presentation for approaching color. It will help you get started and using his formula almost guarantees a successful painting.
