A Change of Scenery

I will mail each player 6 playing cards. Each card has a person (or people) on the back. Every player will get the same people. The goal is to give the person a change of scenery and/or alter what they are doing. You can pick whichever people you want to work with. You could even put two people onto one ATC if you want!

I got this idea from Trash to Treasure 7, which included a card with a woman making breakfast. I loved seeing how people changed her surroundings and activity. I let her enjoy a glass of wine!

This is a no withdrawal swap, I will leave neutral itrader to those who don’t complete the commitment to this swap. No cards, no communication, or late cards may result in neutral itrader.

Please let me know when you receive your envelope of people.

~These are bridge sized cards (not the standard ATC size). Please do not use the card to make an APC or just as a foundation.
~This is a 4 for 4 ATC trade. A host card is not necessary, but if you choose to send one, I will most certainly treasure it!

Please make sure your cards are complete, something you would be excited to receive if I sent it to you.

All cards need to be standard ATC size: 2.5” X 3.5” and sturdy. If it suits your scenery, you may do a house shaped or arch shaped card if it is still overall 2.5” X 3.5”. Please don’t sent flimsy cards that are just a sheet of paper. Back your ATC on sturdy cardstock or paperboard (such as a cereal or tissue box). Cards need to be sent in a plastic sleeve for their protection.

Please include at least the Swap name, your Username, your real name and location on the back of each card.

US participants: please send a large address label with your name and address clearly printed on it and 2 forever stamps. (one stamp to cover my cost of sending the cards to you and one to send your returns to you). I can provide envelopes.

International participants: please enclose a large address label with your name and address clearly printed on it and 2 well concealed US dollar bills or 2 US International forever stamps. I can provide envelopes.

When your cards are ready to mail please post on the thread. Also, we all love a little eye candy, so if possible, please post pics! You can mail your finished cards back to me at the same address that is on the return address label or send me a PM for my address. Please mail your cards early so that they will arrive by the deadline.

When you receive your returns, please leave “you rock” points for the artists whose cards you received, and if you feel that I’ve done a good job as a host, please leave an iTrader for me (haagmm).

Me too please. I understand the no withdrawal rule. Sounds like a fun challenge!

The first 4 sets of cards will go out in the morning. AngelJoy and CQ5 - I sealed up your T2T envies and didn't even thing to toss in the people cards. They can race I guess!

I'm a little confused about what you mean by "Each card has a person (or people) on the back."
I'm assuming that means you're mailing 6 collage items that are loose and we will use these, or how else could we put them infront of a new background, right?
Also, what are the six "playing cards"? We're doing ATC's not APC's right?
Sorry for the dumb-assy-ness, here.

I'm a bit confused too  but I'll be lurking as sounds intriguing!

What I understand is no withdrawing. You are sending us playing cards which each have a person on the back. We have to cut out this person and put it in different surroundings. You will send us 6 of these cards so we have choices of which ones we want to use.
We are not supposed to use the playing card you send as our ATC base. that is to be heavy cardstock, light cardboard.
