Halloween/Autumn ATART
Your Hosts for this wonderful time of creation will be (in alphabetical order): donnacr and friends
Start time (in MY time zone) 12.01pm (JUST after midnight) on Wednesday October 30 and end time 11.59pm (midnight) Sunday November 3 in the latest time zone, or thereabouts. . .
What we can do: ATCs, APCs, ATCoins, 4x6, Inchies (1" x1"), Twinchies (2" x2"), Moos (1" x2.75"), Chunkies (4" x4"), art dolls, skinny pages, journal pages, tags, rolos, gothic arches, post cards, or whatever type of art your heart calls you to create!
All mediums are welcome: collaging, sewing, painting, drawing, digital altering, photographs, beading. . .
All styles are welcome: zentangles, stamps (rubber and postage), stickers, alcohol inks, Distress Oxides. . .
And of course we can trade.
OPTIONAL CHALLENGES FOR THIS ATART:
Wednesday: use Halloween colours of purple, green and orange OR all things Autumn (falling leaves, apples, autumn harvest, autumn colours, etc)
Thursday: Halloween OR Autumn OR Steampunk
Friday: critters, pets and monsters
Halloween: black cats/bats/spiders, ghosts/ghouls/goblins, vampires/mummies/witches, scarecrows, pumpkins
Autumn: scarecrows, pumpkins (NOT Halloween), sunflowers, fun black birds, pumpkin spice coffee
Saturday: trick or treat OR Dia de los Muertes OR phobias (for a list of the top 100 https://www.fearof.net/ )
Sunday: scary, spooky, creepy OR cuter than cute, whimsical, cuddly
What IS an ATART
It's an All Types of ART marathon where you can create art, done over the same time in each time zone. This thread will be our craft room.
How it works:
Start creating art when it's time to start, then upload your lovely creations to your Athon Gallery and post to the thread. Trading and chatting are going on all the time as people are awake in different time zones.
How to ask for a trade:
When you see a piece of art you would like to trade, please SEND A PERSONAL MESSAGE (PM) to that person asking for a trade. Please DO NOT post requests for trades to the thread - it can get way too confusing and may be missed in all the chatter.
NOTE: if you do make a trade, please be sure to send it to your trade partner within 2 weeks. If you're running late, communicate!

And you will. . . remember you can click the You Rock button and leave your compliment/comment there.
HOW TO POST YOUR ART TO THE THREAD:
From your atcsforall.com gallery
It's easiest to have 2 window open.
1) Go to your Gallery and right click on the picture you wish to post - this brings up a menu that includes "Copy image"
2) Click on this
3) Go to your post in the thread and hit Paste (Ctrl V)
4) This allows you to add 10 images to your post
OR
Thumbnails (only 5 of these can be attached to a single post)
1) at the bottom of a new post there is a 'Go advanced' button - click on this
2) you will be taken to a new window, which will still show anything you have already posted. In the top line of commands there is a paper clip - put your cursor over this and it will come up with the label 'Attachments'
3) left click on the paper clip and a 2nd new window will appear.
4) click on ADD FILES at the top and then click BROWSE. This will allow you to browse your computer and choose the image you wish to upload.
5) A list of the images you have chosen appears at the bottom of your post.

If you have any questions at all, feel free to PM me or post your questions to the thread. We have a lot of experienced art-a-thoners who are more than willing to help those of you new to this craziness.
IMPORTANT: REMEMBER TO PUT YOUR USERNAME ON THE BACK OF YOUR CARDS. You can't get an iTrader if your trading partner doesn't know who you are.

I'll be here for sure! I'm not at home and I'm working every day but I have my travel kit (changed Halloween stuff in it) with me and can make art every evening.

Unfortunately I didn't get home last weekend as planned. I am here till at least Sunday because of all the fires and power outages up and down Calif. I am totally safe, but it is really a mess out there. I am hoping gas stations etc. on my route will be up and running normal next weekend because I want to get home.

We don't have Halloween in Finland and it's so frustrating and time consuming trying to find craft supplies here to this theme 
. Thans to KESagers, Evalila and many other members, I have enough supplies for this a-thon. If you'd like to trade any of my cards, I would be happy to trade them for a small amount of supplies too . We have wonderful and huge craft stores in Finland, three in a walking distance from my home, and I can find there what ever I need. Except Halloween supplies!

I definitely want to see all the beautiful artwork!! I'm not sure how much I will be participating. I have a huge exam on Saturday morning for a new work certification. Unfortunately I've procrastinated with my studying so that's on my schedule for this week! We shall see!

Here are some cards that have nothing to do with the season. I found a deck of playing cards with photos of scenes along the Blue Ridge Parkway. I used the photos as a basis for my watercolor paintings.

artchick501 - I understand waking up feeling sick and hope it is a very quick bug who knows not to linger.
Linda4atc - your creations will be sorely missed but it is better that you are safe. Do you know if the fires have been anywhere near your residence? Fingers crossed that all is safe there and that you get home soon.
Haagmm - good luck with your exam and the study. I am a procrastinator from WA-A-A-A-A-Y back so I feel your pain. Hopefully all goes well and you can relax and unwind with us on Sunday.

Linda and everyone in California - stay safe and prepared, just in case! My younger brother in Camarillo and mom & older brother in the San Fernando Valley are under an extreme fire danger warning, although only my younger brother lives in a an area likely to have a sweeping wildfire. The winds just hit southern Oregon today and we, too, have a fire danger alert in place.
I got a couple of ATCs done today in a new style I’m trying, but won’t be able to post them until tomorrow.

Thank you for inviting me. I love all the art being created, but life's been in the way and I haven't participated in ATARTs and many swaps for awhile now. Following along jealously...
